[Listing for a family member.] Vintage reproduction Confederate military kepi hat. Brushed leather. Lightly padded inner headband. Minimal wear. Original owner purchased this hat in the early 1970s. Tag inside reads: United Hatters Cap & Millinery Workers Int. Union, Registered, Union Made, Large. This company/union label was in use between 1934-1983. Shown in photos: Rust stains on inner band (seen only when folded out) from the metal brads, which remain in fine shape, and the chin strap in working order. Very minor signs of rubbing on top left of hat, as shown in photos. All stitching intact, however I feel like there should have been one more stitch in the back where the leather corner appears semi-loose (really only if you pick at it). Apparently this was just how it was made, perhaps intentionally. This 50 year old hat is in excellent condition!
