VINTAGE NITTSJO SWEDEN POTTERY PLANTER 1981 REDWARE FLORAL MORIAGE

This vintage Nittsjo Sweden pottery planter is from 1981. In a thick, very high quality redware, it features high gloss painted traditional flowers. Hand made by the pottery artisans, the glaze work was created in a moriage fashion, & the texture is a treat for the hands as well as the eyes! Measuring 6-3/4”x4”, she’s marked on the base, & in EVC with no chips or cracks. There was always a store plastic pot with a plant inside, but the soil was never actually inside the pot itself, see last pic for interior condition. Purchased by a loved one on a trip to the Sweden, they paid a whopping $152 for this incredible handmade piece, so you can see that this highly collectible baby is priced to sell!
