I'll lead with the damage, which is that these vintage jeans, now old enough to drink and drive, have wear and a tear right at the back of one leg where someone with little daschund legs like me was like to step on it. Aside from this, this denim is in condition so good even I am surprised, with no discoloration or tears in the macrame-style lace and entirely intact inner thighs. In 1999 we decided to become bolder and bolder with the lateral edge of our jeans, replacing denim with elements such as this lace or later, jeans which laced completely up the side, do you remember that, that was a thing. This lace is thick, not delicate, but soft, with stretch. The lace extends from waistband to the end of the bell-bottom, with an overall lengthening effect to make one look taller. Perfect with wedges, incidentally like the boho floral Chesea Crews I am about to post haha, or booties, your legs will look quite long. The jeans have a blowout wash that is lighter on the booty and thigh, and an interesting marled texture of light and dark that creates the overall medium wash. There are no booty pockets, which I admit I disapprove of on principle, but I've also never been able to fit much in a booty pocket but booty. Measurements may be seen in the images, as well as the aforementioned wear on the hem of one leg. These are true low rise, about 9", so please note the "waist" of these jeans will sit right about your hipbone, not your natural waist.
