Vintage Cartier Custom Design Diamond Solitaire 18k Yellow Gold Ring w/ Box

Cartier 18k 0.22ct Diamond Solitaire Ring Vintage single stone 0.22 ct white round cut diamond of very high quality features prominently in the center of three gold swirls in this beautiful 18k gold multilayered ring. This is a very rare style that I have never seen elsewhere. The family story of the ring was it was a custom order for my grandmother who was so intimidated by the brand that she did not wear it after the day of her wedding. When, after 30 yrs of marriage,she finally decided to wear it, she found it no longer fit, and it was set aside in its box. The ring is stamped Cartier in the old style of script with 18k and D 0.22c engraved on the inside of the band. US approximate size 5.75 and sizable. Comes with smaller size vintage ring box.
