litapita425 @valleyviewvtg Okay good. I am worried because some months ago I bought a vintage maxi dress and the length was in- correct. I am 58 inches who only wears flats so I need the length to be accurate. Hope you understand where I am coming from.

valleyviewvtg @litapita425 I can tighten up that loose stitch but please double check the measurements as the green band just under the bust is only 28” with no stretch. So where your ribs are. It is quite small. I’m a 34C and it’s too small for me

litapita425 @valleyviewvtg Hello, I think u r saying that those w/larger busts may find it tight because it will spill into the underbust area ( the green band). Please correct me if I am wrong. This seemed like a perfect Autumn dress-a bit thicker material & something you can pair with a jacket. Buying on Poshmark can be tricky. If this dress was a lot less, I would buy it, & if it didn't work, I wouldn't bat my eyes. But, at this higher price, I have to ask more questions-hope you aren't upset.

litapita425 Did you see the question/comment I asked about the green band? Also, if you tighten the loose stitches by the v..will that make the whole area tighter? Was hoping to buy this dress this weekend for an event this week.

valleyviewvtg @litapita425 yes there is no stretch in the empire waist and the cups are very small. Tightening up that loose stitch won’t do much to hold everything in. I’m sorry I know it can be difficult to buy vintage clothing online. It’s a vintage 12 which is close to a modern size 4

litapita425 @valleyviewvtg It is thicker material correct and good for Fall, in your opinion? I just worry the loose stitching could unravel a bit in the wash..is there anyway u could take care of it so that it doesn't unravel (maybe that means sewing, maybe something else)? Thanks for empathy regarding online shopping. 🙏I am a size 0, DDD cup but if the colors are as vibrant as they seem-I am willing to give it a whirl!
