I know that I'm not the only one who has a gown like this -- you know the one that you purchased over 20 years ago for an event that you didn't end up wearing, but that you just couldn't bring yourself to return or get rid of...LOL So I bought it at TJ Maxx in 2000 - and NEVER WORE IT. It still has the top of the TJ Maxx tag on it - Dark Chocolate brown with a glamorous train - strapless with a 2 3/4" faux fur bit of detailing at the top of the bodice. 2 vertical seams in the front with slanted seams that accentuate the waist in the most glorious manner. The back of the bodice dips a tiny bit lower. Solid structure on the bodice with boning. Honestly this dress is quite well done and made. Its a tad dusty from hanging out in the closet and in a storage container all of this time. Label is "ABS Evening by Allen Schwartz" - size 10 Actual measurements are: Bust 34" Waist 30" Hips up to 38" Length is 53 1/2" (taken in the front from the top center of the bodice down to the hem) I don't see a fabric label anywhere - it feels like a mid to heavy satin - This lovely deserves to be worn someplace exciting!
