Art Pottery by Lantern Hill, Seagrove NC, Candle / Airplant Holder / Planter Pot

Lovely piece of signed studio pottery from Lantern Hill Pottery in Seagrove, North Carolina. Signed "Lantern Hill Seagrove NC" on the base. Pre-owned, in like-new condition. This pretty little pot could be used to hold a tealight or votive candle, as an airplant holder or planter for orchid, african violet or similar plant, as a garlic holder or it could be used as an egg separator. Size: 2.75 inches wide, 2.25 inches tall. Colors: drip glaze in various colors of beige, blue, brown and blue-green. Lantern Hill Pottery was run by well-known north carolinian potter Kit Vanderwal, from 2007 to 2014 when he was unfortunately murdered by a disgruntled former employee. He was well known for his face jugs, smiley face pots, and other unique hand crafted pottery pieces.
