440888 100 | white/fire red-black The 2013 grade-school edition of the Air Jordan 5 Retro ‘Fire Red’ brings back the one of the silhouette’s celebrated OG colorways from 1990. Translucent netting on the quarter panel complements the white leather construction of the upper, as do a reflective coating on the padded tongue. Underneath, the black midsole is accented with signature Fire Red shark-tooth detailing. The build is mostly true to the original, though a red Jumpman replaces the original Nike Air branding at the heel. I have had these since their release in late 2012 - I've tried to be as gentle as I could. They have some age showing, mostly in a yellowing of the mesh panel and soles. A baking soda spa day would fix that!
