VINTAGE SUITS BY MARY 50s Alfred Shaheen repro blue cocktail wiggle dress XS VLV

Gorgeous sharkskin-like fabric with some stretch for comfort. This cocktail dress was expertly crafted by the same maker as Vintage Suits by Mary, using the same pattern as Shaheen wiggle dresses, right down to the hidden bra strap stays. Shoulder straps are adjustable. Best fits a size XS. Waist stretches to 12” across. Lots of stretch to fabric, but for best fit I would recommend a 25” waist or less. Unfortunately, neither Vintage Suits by Mary nor Loveland and Sea are still making clothing. I believe there were only 6 of this dress in this color way that were made. They were designed for presenters at the Special Olympics. Great condition, just wrinkled from storage.
