PLEASE EDUCATE YOURSELF ON POSHMARK'S OFFICIAL BUYING & SELLING GUIDELINES!! Even though I have been on Posh more than 10 years, I was unaware that Buying & Selling anything other than BRAND NEW, NEVER USED and/or SEALED skincare, makeup & other beauty products is 100% PROHIBITED! "NEW" & "NEVER USED" DOES NOT MEAN SWATCHED! Swatching items (whether on your hand OR mouth) & even just removing the wand/dropper to liquid items, means that you have now INTRODUCED BACTERIA INTO THE PRODUCT. By doing so, you have broken the seal & now ACTIVATED THE EXPIRATION PERIOD. On the bottom of all skincare & makeup items, you will notice an image of a "jar" with a number inside. (I will include images above for those who are not already aware.) That number inside the jar stands for the AMOUNT OF MONTHS you can continue using the items until the product will NO LONGER BE SAFE TO USE. This has to do with the formula and it's components, as well as the amount of bacteria that will now be INSIDE THE PRODUCT (yuck, bro). After that amount of months, the Brands can no longer assure the safety of using that product! Please see the official Posh Guidelines (Terms of Service) to make sure you are abiding by these guidelines, so that you can continue being an active member of this (otherwise) amazing Community!
