This is a very pretty dark red stone and cubic zirconia in a silver setting and necklace. This was a gift, so I don’t know the original price, but I believe this to be costume jewelry. The necklace measures 18.25 inches. This is new, never worn.

ninaluxury Thank you for shipping this quickly! It is very nice. What boggles my mind is Columbian Emeralds International carries fine jewelry only, and these pieces aren’t marked at all. I agree, this looks like costume jewelry. I’m not complaining, the price was great! Just wondering if the box was from a different jewelry item? I’ll enjoy it either way, just curious. 😊

cindyannt @ninaluxury Well this was a gift so maybe it is worth more money than I thought…. Is there a gold stamp? I never even looked. A student gave this to me for Christmas many years ago. Now I am wondering if it was his mother’s and if she knows that her child gave it away? So interesting.

ninaluxury @cindyannt Well, the odd thing is — there aren’t any stamps…not for gold or silver. It’s a mystery because I’ve been to Columbian Emeralds International shops before in the Caribbean, and they only sell fine jewelry. The red stones look like garnets, I looked through my loupe and saw inclusions. I don’t think they’d have them set in a base metal instead of sterling silver. So, it is quite the corundum…
