Vintage Navajo Shadowbox Sterling Silver & Turquoise Three Bar cuff.

This is a stunner and all that! A gorgeous Vintage beauty. I'm partial to the Shadowbox Jewelry technique, how each one has it's makers character. I love how the depth and layering gives it so much natural contrast. Most though not all, will leave the bottom layer of Sterling oxidized so it really shows off the designs lines 🤔. hum... This Cuff has the two outside Sterling bands, with a work hardened middle twisted wire. The face is beautiful, with it's classic Navajo craftsmanship. I could be wrong about its roots in the Navajo as far as design. It's an unsigned piece. But it resonates as a Navajo design, much easier than Hopi or Zuni I feel The Artist stamped a pretty sunburst around the cutout domed top layer. It's in very nice condition. The Silver stamping has been softened with age, but the design is still very clear. The ends of the cuff are worn down about .25" in from the end. All solder is tight. Shows its character mostly. The Turquoise Stone is very secure in it's bezel. It's nice and solid, but also on the lighter side which makes it super comfy to wear. It has tested as Sterling Silver. It doesn't have the Sterling stamp or Artist Hallmark. Until sometime in the 1950's-60s the Native Silversmiths hadn't made it a practice to sign their jewelry. It weighs 10.9 grams. measures end to end inside 4.75" The gap is 1.5" The Shadowbox dome is 1" long x .75" wide x .50" deep This will come gift wrapped. I also send a reusable polishing cloth.
