I have this dress and the fabric is AMAZING. It’s silk and cotton. It’s so breezy and has the slightest heavenly sheen

How sheer is this dress? Do you need a slip?
millyposh
@swanazure it’s not that sheer it can do without. I would say only wear a slip if you feel like the wrap isn’t secure enough

@colleeyflower hi! I know this comment was a long time ago, but since you own(ed) this dress could you please tell me- what bust size do you think the size XS would accommodate while still having a full overlap (no cleavage showing)? I’m a 34B, normally an XS in CD dresses, but wondering if I should size up to a S so I can wrap it more fully? Thanks for any help!
millyposh
@ailimis it is really hard to say since it depends on height/ where the bust hits but I don’t think XS would be a problem. I would suggest using a safety pin at the top to pin the fabric if you are worried about coverage since wrap dresses do move a little since they are tied at the waist

@millyposh thank you so much! I’d probably sew on a snap. I have an Augusta dress in the cotton gauze fabric in an XS, and it fits me and wraps fully, but when I added the snap it made the armpits pull just slightly, as though I needed more room. Was wondering if this one might run on the bigger or smaller side compared to the one I have. There is this exact dress available from another posher in the size S so I’m just so torn! 😆
