These Softspots sandals are a pretty blue leather--a close call between navy and periwinkle blue. The suede leather uppers have a slight metallic shimmer and the heels are 2 1/2 inches. Platforms are solid wood, with no signs of scuffs or scratches on the heels. These have been worn a couple of times. The soles are in excellent condition with little visible wear, mostly on the heel bottoms. Well cared for and stored in closet drawer, non-smoking home. While I love them, the heel height is no longer comfortable for me and I am downsizing my collection of great shoes.
