80’s/90’s vintage light wash denim high waist midi pencil skirt. It has belt loops and a button snap slit up the back. Made by Stuffed Shirt with 100% cotton. Tagged a size 7/8. Best fits a 27”/28” Light fading due to age but otherwise it’s in great shape. Waist: 27” Hips: 18” Length: 33”

ifechijie Is there any stretch or is the skirt fully rigid? And what's the hip measurement? Desc says 18" but I don't think that can be right

ladypaigevntg @ifechijie Hello, it’s 100% cotton so not really much stretch. And the hip measures 18” laying flat so all around it’s 36”

windyplain I wondered where you did the hip measurement---at the bottom of the zipper or if not, how many inches below the bottom of the zipper?

windyplain The reason I asked is that I have an identical one in a size 5/6 and wanted one a size bigger, but my 5/6 one measures 18.5" across at the bottom of the zipper so it is like your 7/8 one is actually smaller in the hips which definitely could be true but it would not work for me in that case.

ladypaigevntg @windyplain Hey, sorry for the delayed response. I take hip measurements at the bottom of the zipper. I can re measure in a little bit to make sure it’s accurate and I’ll take a picture for you as well. Thanks for your patience.

ladypaigevntg @windyplain No problem. So I just re-measured it and the widest point below the zipper is 19 inches. Hope that helps ❤️
