Comes with "Large" backs that secures the earring - see picture ( clear backs) These are substantial - WOW beautifully made. ***There is a slight bend in one of the post that I think is minor - inspect the pictures please. I do not know what the stone is. It looks to be Turquoise but could be Chrysocolla too. Not sure. The stone is a beautiful bright turquoise color. They "pop" when wearing box is not included - used for display
