Vintage 50-60's Fur Collared Coat
This coat is gorgeous and unique find
Although from the 50-60's, it's fitted, double-breasted cut invokes an earlier era
Ash brown shell
Satin lining (deep rose gold color - see photo + video)
Fur collar (likely mink, maybe rabbit - see video)
Labels are Eaton of Canada (The Sax/Macy's of Canada in the day) & JM of Toronto, Canada
Union crafted
Only one previous owner
Very well cared for
Worn through Minnesota winters; very warm
Attached belt along back - not front
2 hip slot-pockets
Two buttons missing (see photos - 1 on waist area, one under collar/lapel)

OMG!!!! oh to live in the err-a of graceful glam and class!!! Chivalry was every where n everyone was gracious to one another. Always say hello to someone walking by. Doors being opened for women. Stood up when a woman enters a room. I was blessed to have three sets of great grandparents and of course grandparents that kept those manners….

Grandma taught me how to walk the catwalk. Proper sitting n standing. Being a young teen at the time it was time to keep up appearances and always look tidy. Now a days I go to church youth groups with books to show young women how to dress for wat you want and how you carry yourself shows confidence. Then there’s the whole sex (conservative) talk and questions.

I’m not sure on this coat. I love it but my husband bought me a suede n Sherpa coat last winter. I’m on disability and not working so I really have no place to wear it. Thought though measurements would be a good addition.

Now that I see measurements it’s a big large for me. It’s be better for someone further north than PA. Our winters are fairly milder over the past ten years. So far this year with those two big storms we only had rain. I’m just north of Philly n south of Trenton NJ. Typical never know which side of the Deleware River will see what. A few years back we had no measurable snow!!!! I’m not working now either so I’d only wear it to church n with my church I would be way overdressed.

G'Afternoon! My apologies that it took so long to get back to you. I've added 3 pics at the end of this listing to give you a visual. The measurement of shoulder to shoulder is about 18"-18.5". The arms don't really have a clear demarcation between upper & lower arms, but the measurement from shoulder to cuff is roughly 23". [Message 1/2]
