Gently worn (only once or twice!) muscle tee with a great back story. Created by shop owners of Howl Mercantile in Salina, CO: “Inspired by a nasty Google review ("Good cup of joe. But way too much of a western feminist atmosphere. Ultimately too politicized." - @libertarianliberation) We flipped the narrative and embraced this critique. Yes, we are intersectional feminists living in the Wild West, our lens of the American West is through many facets unique to our geography and history of Colonialism. For me, being a Western Feminist means working to heal my ancestral wounds by envisioning my Japanese-American Grandmother (now 93 years young) in the WWII Concentration Camp of Heart Mountain in Wyoming and using that knowledge, sadness and rage to 1.) fight for this to never happen again and 2.) to raise my daughter to be a strong womxn; to realize all of her dreams and aspirations; and to always fight for those on the margins.” Pit to pit: 25” Shoulder to hem: 26”
