Vintage (1940’s) Wooden Carved Sandal Size 6~Philippines Shoes. These collectible shoes were carved during WWII. The fabric straps are velvet with embroidered flowers. The ankle has a buckle for closure. These slide shoes were each carved from one solid piece of wood. The word, “Phillipines” is painted on the inside of shoes, along with painted flowers. The shoes have carved palm tree & tiki huts on the footbed. The shoes are FUN & painted with red, bright pink, yellow, green, & orange. These shoes are VINTAGE and FRAGILE!! They are in good shape considering the age (please look at my pictures). Details: 1.) 9 1/2” inches from toe to heel inside along footbed 2.) 2 1/2 Wedge Heel 3.)
