@annejeter2 Hi, thank you for shopping my boutique! this brand runs one size larger, for best fit size down on size. For the shorter in seam length you’ll want to look for petite styles in the full length flare or boot cut style this brand. Customers have had the jeans shortened for their preferred length in the flares. However in the Skinny or cropped styles are shorter in length in regular sizing.

@desireedcq it would be the same size, a size 9 is a junior size and a size 10 is a Missy size. Hence this is why you’ll see stores like Walmart tag them as a 9/10. Same size just different customer.

@desireedcq these jeans have a spandex stretch and not Lycra so they are less stretchy. Still you’ll need to size down one size as this brand consistently run one size larger.

@chicbabygirl so I wear a size 10 waist is 27 butt hip size is 33 So with stretch around the derrière part could I pull off 29 too big or 27 too small idk!

@desireedcq size 27 would be your size in this brand after sizing down if your true size is 9/10 or size 28. Also not sure if I’ve mentioned that you can always exchange for another size or a different pair or any other item currently stocked in my boutique.

@chicbabygirl Yeah I was kind of hesitant and wasn’t sure because, I already have a pair of jeans that I bought if you check my listing in my The darker jeans are very stretchy and the lighter jeans are not as much stretch! So I’m trying to compare to see if I will be able to fit these jeans since I bought them in the size that’s too big and also too small

@chic baby girl but that’s a first that if I was to buy these jeans from you and they did not fit I will be able to exchange them for a different size that is nice to know because I’m stuck with two pair jeans that I spent over $100 for and I can neither wear neither one of them because one is too small and one is slightly too big. Fits around my derrière but it’s too too loose around my waist

@desireedcq Okay think I understand what information will help you to understand what makes jeans stretch. There are different fibers used in stretch jeans. Your darker thinner jeans most likely have Lycra for stretch, check the fabric tag. Your lighter less stretchy jean most likely have spandex for stretch. If the jean has Lycra in it’s content you will definitely want to size down one to two sizes as it will have much more stretch but not loose as much body grip during wear.

@desireedcq With spandex the jean will be a bit snug initially and then over wear time become loose. All jeans will retract back to their original size or smaller when laundered.
