Vintage Mexican Western tooled leather bag

Calling all cowgirls! Vintage find! (Likely) Mexican tooled leather bag - could be from the 1940-50s. Maroon suede interior lining. Interior has one slip pocket and a zip pocket with a slip pocket behind it. Structured, boxy shape with a tooled traditional floral design. Contrasting, entirely intact whipstitching on seams - note a tiny bit of wear on corner of stitching. Metal and plastic (or bakelite) clasp. A little discoloration on inside of metal clasp. Adjustable strap is detachable at sides of purse, with a snap closure at the top of shoulder with a 15in drop. Clearly gently used, a little overall wear, but in fabulous condition for its age! These bags are indestructible. 11in x 8in x 2.25in. Slightly narrows at top of bag.
