This gorgeous late 19050s to 1960s gown is such a beautiful gown. I have had it in my collection for many years, in hopes of wearing it on that special day. It’s made of satin, lace appliqué, and tulle. It comes with a full train as well.
I hand soaked this dress due to light staining in the lining. It was air dried. It is a little crinkly (particularly the pleated waistline), and I would definitely recommend it being professionally pressed, even though I finally got around to steaming it. Sold as is. There are two missing buttons that can be easily replaced with either a button to cover tool kit (found at most fabric shops), or by a professional. There are also a couple light discoloration/faint stains in the lining. I soaked it once, as well as air dried it. You could possibly remove the remaining discoloration with an additional attempt. If you know of a wedding gown restorer, or are personally experienced in doing it yourself, I think the remaining spotting can be fully removed with more time and effort.
Please double check measurements ~ no size label. My guess is that it is an extra small to small.
For reference, I’m 5’9” and about 120 lbs. It is slightly tight on me. I also didn’t have assistance buttoning the back buttons, but it does close on me with the help of someone.
