Custom Dave Hack Chaps with silver buckles. Like New. They appear to have never been worn. Purchased from Estate Sale for Houston Rodeo Vice President. They were custom made for him and I don’t believe he ever used them. Waist is 40-45” open and could be let out or taken in if needed. Length is 45” from top of hip to bottom of fringe.

@funwithleather they are beautiful. I paid $2800 in the estate auction for them. They were shipped to me wrapped in plastic. They still smell new.

@auntgigirox wow! That must be a very famous chapmaker. I’ll look him up… whose estate auction?

@auntgigirox from the cut of leg- it looks like they’re meant to be a modified shotgun chap. Unusual arrangement with long bottom fringe. LB

@funwithleather added a few more pics. I just hate they were too long. These are awesome.

@funwithleather he’s very well known. Does incredible work. The man who passed was last name Jones and he had beautiful memorabilia from his involvement as a former Tx Ranger, a Tejas Vaquero and Rodeo VP. Beautiful leather holsters, custom saddles, custom boots etc etc

@auntgigirox wow. Just wow. Good luck with selling them- you certainly can’t alter something with that pedigree. I thought you meant he was showing Western Pleasure- of course if he’s trail riding chinks are great! I’m about to post the pair that I’m currently recovering from nerve damage over. Stand by! Lisa.
