Knee high solid black boots w/side buckle details, in very good condition, some marks from mostly storage, it is a former store model, worn once & too narrow for my admittedly wide feet, true to size otherwise, soft supple leather. Questions and offers welcome.

smith_london @bevdeddens I’m leather I generally wear a B width & treat them with a special liquid that allows them to stretch a bit. I work w/leather a lot so I have tricks, these just were too narrow for me at the toe box.

bevdeddens Please measure the seam to seam on the widest part of the boot shoe. Your pic looks like you just laid the tape on rope of the shoe. From top of the sole at the seam to the top of the sole at seam on the other side, what is that measurement? 3.25” seems extremely narrow I don’t know anyone who could wear that so I’m thinking you didn’t measure seam to seam

smith_london @bevdeddens I’m sorry I didn’t show it correctly, adding for the metal tip it’s 3.5”, still quite narrow.

niddiebone @smith_london Thanks for answering so fast! Do they feel as if they might have room for inserts? I read your conversation above, saying that you expand them a bit, which might be very helpful for me and my ridiculously high archest with plantar fasciitis.

smith_london @niddiebone oh no problem I love my customers 🌻 Honestly, unless those inserts are relatively thin, the inserts may not fit. These are very supple but fit like a second skin. As you may have read above, carefully wetting the leather will allow them to form to your feet, so there is the slightest bit of give if you believe your inserts are thin enough.
