TRUE VINTAGE WEDDING DRESS, 1940s-1950s

This vintage wedding dress is one of a kind! I’ve dated it 1940s-1950s since the design is unique. Ivory dupioni fabric, heavy and luxurious; I could not determine fabric content exactly, but most likely silk, rayon, or a combination. Handmade & hand-beaded with a chapel train and shawl collar, not quite off-the-shoulder. Ivory glass beads. Covered buttons halfway down train. Fitted sleeves with button cuffs. Train fastens up to 2 buttons at waist. Some tiny flaws—most stains will come out with dry cleaning; one tiny hole in bodice (see picture) that could easily be concealed or fixed. Larger fraying hole under arm; again, could be mended. One torn button—I re-covered many of the buttons myself & will include 16 extra buttons with the dress. Approximately US size 12; see measurements. There is between 1/2” and 1” of seam allowance throughout, so a good tailor may be able to size up a tiny bit.
