free_spirit_ed @grace4d No one know what tomorrow brings my friend but being with your Mom right now is a gift in itself for both of you! My Daddy was with hospice and I stayed with him 10 months. Fixed him biscuits and gravy and milk shakes with sublingual vitamin B & D and he gained weight and was released from hospice. Yes he passed 6 months later…but it was quality time that we both needed. Best decision I’ve ever done was get to know him in his elder years. The love we shared was immeasurable! 🙏❤️🙏

grace4d @janicecaldwell 🤗I’m hoping she holds in so I can spend some more time w her tho Last Mother’s Day we had a wonderful time together. & I’ll always cherish that! I lost my dad in 96 and my step dad in 2017 (so thankful for that gentle man!). Mother has missed him so much these last years. I’m glad you had time with yours!🌻🌻🌻🤗

They say it’s normal for those w dementia but still very hard to see it happen. Idk when I will be back hopefully soon — push helps balance Me! I couldn’t bring anything w me. Ttys & Tc! ♥️♥️♥️

It is hard & I’m sorry you know how hard- our parents get old & we do our best & miss them. she’s been ready awhile - her body won’t give up— maybe it’s the farm girl spirit? She’s worked hard all her life & we lost my step dad 5 yrs ago. She misses him so much when she remembers. I’m glad that I’m able to be with her! Thx for those prayers! luturnbull @grace4d Honestly? I’ve noticed this myself….we had to move because my husband’s parents are getting up there and need help. Older people are tough! They do NOT have it in them to sit and rest. 😂 There’s something to say about that spirit huh? Hang in there sister. Speaking from personal experience, these will be memories that will be with you forever. ❤️ Pray when you need strength to get through the next day, hour, minute or second. You’ll be sustained. grace4d @classcelass1 I’m very sorry to hear that. It’s not easy to lose a parent but mothers are more special I think. My mother survived sepsis but it stole her memories from her.
