Custom-made wool wedding suit from Walker & Pattinson New York, circa 1910 with cut-away “morning” coat and pinstriped trousers - made for a slim man, but very Marlene Dietrich on a woman! Peaked lapels with piping trim (also at cuffs). Inside breast pocket and watch fob pocket in lining.. Long back vent has two buttons as well. Trousers are high-waisted with pleats and buttons inside the waistband for braces / suspenders. Measures: shoulder-to-shoulder approx. 17”, chest 38-40”, collar to bottom of tailcoat 39 in back, sleeve 24.5”, waist approx. 34” - adjustable down vía back buckle, fuller straight leg 43” from waistline - inseam 32” with approx 2” hem/selvage. Loads of Halloween options here from red-lipped femme fatale to Charlie Chaplin’s tramp. Excellent antique/vintage condition (pristine lining) with the exception of one tiny moth hole.
