Never got to alter or wear my vintage looking beaded gown due to Covid and having to pivot to a backyard wedding. It was preserved straight from picking up from Bridal Reflections. becadad @lswr7578 thanks! I love this dress and bummer I never got to wear it! Poshmark pics only allow for a certain size photo. Trying to edit to see the whole dress. It is preserved so don’t want to open the box to take new pics

becadad @heidytx I will post one or two more when I tried it on but it was too big and never got it fitted so am holding the excess fabric back as they wouldn’t give me clips since they are worried it will ruin the dress. Thanks for your interest as I would love for someone to wear it!

tavo1 I am a size 8, are the appliqués embroidered on the actual fabric or can the appliqués be removed to alter the dress?

becadad @tavo1 it is on the top layer but can be tailored to fit as I got it larger than my size and didn’t tailor it yet as Covid hit and changed all the plans! They said it is no problem to tailor. I have it with the veil and will include it. It is still preserved in a box and never worn other than to try on once.

tavo1 @becadad I showed my seamstress the dress, she wanted to know if the applications could be unstitched to do the alterations. Such a beautiful dress, I am actually wearing a ball gown from YSA Makino for the actual wedding, was thinking of this dress for the rehearsal dinner. I am nervous about how big the dress is, I don’t want to pay an arm and a leg for alterations. Hope this dress goes to someone closer to the size, that won’t require much alterations. Thank you for your time.
