jnjsboutique @khsmucker Hello, yes the shell is water resistant as it is 100% Nylon(as seen on updated photos). I've used it as a light rain jacket & it worked perfectly! The tags on the jacket don't directly specify being waterproof.

jnjsboutique @khsmucker There isn't a zipper/pocket but, the hood can be folded/rolled & velcroed to the back of the neck(as seen in updated photos).
