These mid-century dishes were made by Franciscan China between 1961 and 1966. The plates are in the "Spice" pattern. Many pieces in "Spice" feature a graphic spice plant in tan on a speckled cream ground with a tan trim.
The Tea Cups Soup Bowls And Serving Items Are Solid With Speckled Cream Interiors.

The Brand is a very popular 50-to late 60’s Mid Century line.
Franciscan Ware.
Lugged bowls were originally for soups that were served with a baked top like a French onion with bread and cheeses on top?
So generally an oven safe soup bowl with a handle on sides to make easier to serve.

@rengegrace I do have the plates from this set listed too.they are cute the only part of set that is called “spice”that has the folk flower on it is plates -
The rest is that elegant gray brown with speckled interior.
