Caterina Lucchi met her husband Marco Campomaggi when they were design students. Finally the two brands (along with the trendier Gabs label) have come together under the Campomaggi umbrella. The quality and attention to detail are truly evident in this backpack. The front of the bag itself is gorgeous buttery smooth Italian leather in dark brown as are the back padded straps. The main rounded front flap and the flaps on the front buckle pockets are also dark brown, but darker to be almost black in color. Found also on the bottom. If you refer to the pictures, please notice that the back middle of the bag is dark brown canvas. All the hardware is goldtone. Under the flap you will find grommets at the top of the bag that the leather passes through to adjust the closure. The bag is lined in dark brown canvas and the front wall has 2 good size slip pockets finished in the dark brown leather. The back wall has a gold zip pocket with reinforced leather along with the Caterina Lucchi logo. Gold logo is also found at the top back of the backpack.
