These beautifully detailed Mary Janes are comfortable and practical. They have a Kalso negative heel design to better align your spine while standing and walking. I first tried this shape of shoe to make low back pain go away while standing as a front desk worker. Worked like a charm! I then bought my next pairs to wear as a classroom teacher. Easy to maintain great standing posture in them and comfortable back. Now I teach outdoors, so I'm wearing hiking boots and these lovely shoes need a new home! Notes: The velcro on the straps has been replaced. They have a wide toe box to allow for natural toe spread. I have a narrow heel and was able to wear these just fine. There is an arch. Size 8.5. (I wear an 8.5 in dress shoes and a 9 to 9.5 in sneakers depending on the brand. These shoes fit me like a glove in heel and mid-step, with extra room in the width of the toe box for happy toes.)
