Not too mini or maxi. This is a midi length dress with a high slit, a back cut out, and cap sleeves. The Gavin is fitted in the bodice and waist with a relaxed fitting skirt. It gives you a pretty good balance of comfort and shape. I love this dress but it was a tiny bit too small. I've ordered the 8.
