This rare feather cap was made by Yves Saint Laurent, most likely in the mid 1970s. Made from a combination of black iridescent ostrich and longer plume feathers with black fabric layers in between, all of which are affixed to a netted fabric base with wire frame. Incredibly gorgeous, this statement piece can be worn on top of the head, at the side, or at the base of a pony tail.
