Vintage LV monogram Babylone tote bag. Date code VI 0995 - made in France, September, 1995. Before the Neverfull there was the Babylone. Made in the late 80s until the early 00s this is a classic structured LV tote. Sides are rounded and folded to expand a little. The bottom is flat and firm so the bag stays standing up. Strap drop 12 inches. Canvas is sturdy with some white marks and wear most noticeable on side edges. Vachetta in very good condition with few light marks and scratches. Zipper very smooth. Light tarnish on brass hardware. Interior cross grain lining with minimal marks. Side zip pocket with interior peel but little stickiness. Patch pocket on other side with two pen holders also has peel with light stickiness. Great vintage bag still in very good condition.
