Vintage 1960's Glass Christmas Cookie Canister. This awesome piece has a bright, cheerful Christmas theme with red and green holly with berries and Cookies printed in red. The rubber seal and wire bail lid ensures a nice tight seal. The markings embossed on the bottom are: 2 3L . The holly and berries, as well as the script, appear to be fired-on. This is a great jar for not only storing cookies, baked goods, salty snacks, popcorn, sugar, coffee, tea bags, candies, dried pasta, rice, dried beans or lentils. Dog treats! This retro container would be a delightful addition to any kitchen counter especially at the Christmas season! Full with fairy lights or other holiday decor! Approximate Measurements: The canister stands 10.5 inches tall with the lid and is about 5.5 inches across the widest part. Opening Measurement Diameter 3-4/8" This clean and shiny jar is in excellent condition and the print and holly berries all is in great condition. Gasket In great condition. Metal closure does show some age but works properly. Has A couple flea bites and one tiny chip on bottom. Tried to capture in last pics but does not distract from piece at all.
