Vintage Mexico Tonala Clay Pottery Vase with Lid Sandstone Mother Child Folk Art

Folk art TONALA MEXICO vase featuring a mother and her child. It is the sandstone-style, so the texture is slightly grainy to the touch, except for the painted areas which are smooth. The interior of the vase is also glazed and smooth. The art is well done, as we can see the mother's braided hair, the cactus and yucca plant, and the small boy with a hat. The bottom of the vase is marked MEXICO. Comes with lid!!! everyone I see has no lid this has one. MEASUREMENT: approx. 5 in tall x 5 in. across at the widest part CONDITION: excellent vintage condition; no chips or cracks
