Pitcher, Pottery, brown and drip-glazed, Vintage

This pitcher is 6.5" tall and 7 1/4" wide. Deep brown body with drip-glazing along rim and opening. Sturdy with a good grip handle. Opening is 3.5" wide and 5" long from handle to pour spout. There are three issues with this pitcher: 1) there's a defect that's part of the pottery; 2) the lip of the pour spout is missing a piece of glaze - not sure if if was made this way or if a small piece of glaze chipped off - still usable though; 3) Not sure if the scratches pictured above are actually scratches or if it's a defect in the glaze. No crazing or cracks. This could be McCoy pottery.
