To those interested this is a model 5230 briefcase known as the « Embassy Brief » The dimensions are 15.5" Long x 10.5" Tall x 3" Deep and the Strap drops ~12.5".
Made of glove tanned leather this bag is one of my most coveted. It indeed has two outer slip pockets intended for documents or notebooks and an interior slip pocket that can easily fit an iPad. The main pocket is generously sized.

That's mold on the inside flap, is it anywhere else? Also, I'd clean it with dishsoap and vinegar to stop if from getting worse.
