simplierosalie@lvburgess74 hi sweet friend. Host pick, a little bit of everything.

Nov 14Reply

tanyajosh@lvburgess74 I like host pick and a good variety of size!!

Nov 14Reply

jill555@lvburgess74 I like a mix of items and then once in awhile a theme

Nov 14Reply

kylie_aus2usa@lvburgess74 Hello friend :) I'm going to be honest - and keep in mind this is only my opinion :) When looking for lives, I often search for themes - but with that being said, being a mum of 3 girls aging from 4-9yrs we all need clothes so a range of sizes is a big help, especially with saving on shipping. This is a huge size range - so obviously it isn't possible for a lot of sellers to cater for this. Requests from the hosts closets is something i have more often than not, wanted to do :)

Nov 14Reply

kylie_aus2usa@lvburgess74 Sharing from other peoples is a real perk, especially for those of us who are just starting on this journey and don't have the ability of doing lives ourselves - but that does not mean it has to happen every time. A lot of sellers are offering that as say a reward for buying from them, which i think is an awesome way of doing it :)

Nov 14Reply

kylie_aus2usa@lvburgess74 as for low starting bids... i've really enjoyed it - especially when there is plenty of interest in an item - but that is a real hard call... i don't like the real offers that sometimes mean you are selling at a loss - it' s not easy selling, but it is rewarding :) So, that's it from me... happy poshing :)

Nov 14Reply

Nov 17Reply

simplierosalie@lvburgess74 yikes, not me but i remember someone saying that. Perhaps Barbara, while sitting at the airport?

simplierosalie@tanyajosh ahh haha you’re probably right. Testing, testing…pls get to our girl Lauren asap lol 😆

Nov 17Reply

tkdkbkI look for a live show that is engaging such as yours. Great deals and quality clothing is ahmazing! But if the seller is boring I struggle to stay engaged. I don’t prefer bringing in other sellers items as I like seeing the item live. However I completely understand why people are doing it. Keep up the amazing job!

Nov 20Reply

camelliabtqI really love attending your shows and I am so happy I stumbled on it by accident! What I really love about your shows (might be a little bit biased!) is that your clothing is definitely my style, and my size! I really love that the host picks! Its honestly just all so fun to see the amazing curated pieces you have!

Nov 20Reply

camelliabtqI would appreciate one theme but I’m open to anything! I think many buyers join a show when they see that the starts start low from either $3,$5, or $8 starts. I recommend adding that to your show title to help garner in views! Of course if you have any other more expensive pieces it doesn’t have to start at 8$ necessarily but having that title in your show definitely helps bring in views!

Nov 20Reply

camelliabtqI think buyer’s don’t necessarily want sellers who share other buyers’ closets but it is fun (and also garners in more views) but another tip that helps garner in views is saying like what brands you might have to offer or the primary size range or sizes you are showcasing! Like for example, “$5-8 STARTS! REVOLVE, LULULEMON, ZIMMERMAN, XS-M SHOW NOW!” I think definitely helps give a preview to shoppers on what you might have (this helps your show stand out!)

Nov 20Reply

camelliabtqBut overall like everyone may have mentioned I love how engaging and sweet you are with your buyers and I love your shows so much <3 my favorite on this app ❤️❤️ you are doing an amazing job !!

Nov 20Reply

lvburgess_@camelliabtq Great Feedback Camellia!!!! I sure appreciate what you're saying and completely agree. I want to draw in viewers and keep them interested when they hop on the LIVE. Low starts is attractive and name brands! I'm toying with doing a "Reveal" Box show. So showing whats in each box and pricing 5 items of name brands and selling the entire box. That takes out the cancelling each item and charging people multiple times and multiple shipping.

Nov 20Reply

lvburgess_@camelliabtq I've had a few customers tell me the refunds are taking like a week 😲 thats too long and ties up funds for people trying to Holiday shop. I'd do kids boxes and adults by theme/or brands. What do you think about that idea?

Nov 20Reply

lvburgess_@camelliabtq They sent an email today saying the are rolling out a few more features for LIVE shows but they are still tweaking the bundling function. :-(

Nov 20Reply

camelliabtq@lvburgess74 that sounds so smart and fun!! I would love to attend! Count me in! (:

Nov 20Reply

camelliabtq@lvburgess74 honestly your pieces are the best!! Your show is super engaging! I think you just need that title boost to help bring more people in!! Otherwise you’re doing amazing <3

Nov 20Reply

camelliabtq@lvburgess74 that sounds like a magnificent idea to possibly bypass the bundling issue! 💕

Nov 20Reply

onceuponakind@lvburgess74 Honestly, I have seen very few lives that have even decent production value meaning lighting, background, audio, visual, engagement with audience and the number 1 - viewers. For an auction to work, it takes a critical mass of people to bid the items up. Otherwise, you might as well go shop at your local thrift rather than artificially force sellers into lowballing their own items under the guise of an auction. I, personally, would not accept those amounts if an offer were made on

Nov 29Reply

onceuponakind@lvburgess74 them in my closet. Taking into account original cost, time to list, photograph, share, & all other venues of "poshing", gas to the post office, ink to print the label, time to clean, package, wrap and then add the time to do a live - that is an awful lot of time. If you factor all those things, are you even making minimum wage at the end of it all? If it is a great deal, it ought to be a great deal for both parties, not just the buyer (& yes, I love saving a slew of $ when I am the

Nov 29Reply

onceuponakind@lvburgess74 buyer 😁 ) but one needs to look at both sides of the perspective! I think selling from other closets is very nice, though my question remains what is the seller getting out of it at the end of the day? Kindness goes a long way, but what happens if the seller begins to feel used and abused so to speak :) Themes work well, sizes work well, but I, honestly, would not sit through an hour and a half hoping that an XS might emerge...so I think there is not a one size fits all here :)

Nov 29Reply

onceuponakind@lvburgess74 Also think that the closet name ought to be on a banner or placard somewhere visible to the camera eye so that viewers unused to posh will have that name emblazoned on their mind's eye to remember to come back to your closet. Being able to list on the spot items that are NOT already listed in one's closet is also a + as then the already listed items are not cheapened by the low bids, and it allows an element of surprise as well as mitigating sellers' "death piles". Blessings :)

Nov 29Reply

onceuponakind@lvburgess74 Figure I'd better hush now ;) bc believe me, there is more 😂

Nov 29Reply

lvburgess_@onceuponakind Thank you so much!!! You make some very valid and excellent points. I think the "idea" and platform are great but they definitely have some kinks to work out. It is very hard to compete with the extremely low starting bids that are even lower than shipping costs. I think they low starting bids have been used top get people in your show (more than 5-6 viewers). I for one have been able to do low start bids because my entire closet is my own personal wardrobe or my kids items.

Nov 30Reply

lvburgess_@onceuponakind I only sell items that we purchased to wear at some point in life or we've outgrown or just tired of. So for me I can sell low or just donate. Now for avid resellers who thrift shop, buy wholesale, or buy consignment and are trying to get the money back they've dumped into their inventory, the low starts would be a brutal hit and I don't see how anyone would make any profit.

Nov 30Reply

lvburgess_@onceuponakind I also don't get the whole concept of share other peoples items. Sure, just to be courteous and give the closet some exposure, but seriously you're reaching more people by just sharing the item to your followers than in a live show that has maybe 20-30 ppl viewing. The highest viewed shows I have seen are the same 3-4 poshers that average 150-200 viewers (and I watch many many shows throughout each day) I have done about 4 shows just for fun and to move some older inventory

Nov 30Reply

lvburgess_@onceuponakind that has sat in my closet but the Live Shows have been great for me to just sell lots of items so I can clean out closets. I've moved 200+ items in the past 2 weeks. At this rate, I will have to thrift or wholesale to maintain inventory bc we aren't getting rid of clothes at my house fast enough to keep up with the rate I am selling them. Anyway, I appreciate your feed back so much! I like to hear other peoples prospectives and try and come up with ideas to make my shows better!

Nov 30Reply

lvburgess_@onceuponakind Have a fabulous week! Take Care~Lauren 💕

Nov 30Reply

tkdkbk@lvburgess74 have a great weekend! Looking forward to your next show regardless of when it is. Such a fun posher! Don’t forget to tag us when you do your live. It’s so helpful!! Ps….loving my Diva too. You need a kick back from them. Lol ♥️😘

lvburgess_@tkdkbk awww thanks Tami 💞 I’m definitely doing a show this week!! I’ll keep you posted and tag everyone! 🤩

Dec 03Reply

onceuponakind@lvburgess74 You are so welcome! Not always that feedback is appreciated so warmly 😂 I concur as in my limited scope that's what I'm seeing - same few closets w the higher #s, and most of the rest fall under 20, under 10 which just isn't critical mass for a true auction bid up. I can totally see how it would help move out inventory where one doesn't need to worry about clearing a profit margin! A couple other observations I've noticed too is that there needs to be some from the top "rule"s, as

Dec 07Reply

onceuponakind@lvburgess74 I'm seeing very inappropriate clothing (some ignorant, some not), language, on camera drinking (not water) and playing music. Unless posh has paid for licensing fees, the music is running into major potential trouble. And the other has the potential to cheapen the whole reputation and name of posh, so maybe rules is too stringent, but guidelines as to what really parlays posh's name rightly. Not sure I'm articulating it well, but my 2 cents for what they're worth :) Thanks for your

Dec 31Reply

dyeggsI be honest, I liked that your show was open . No theme. Variety of items. But that being said. I sat through HOURS!!!! Asked a few times🤷 Was told my item was going to be listed, 😔.. very disappointed. Show was very slow moving in showing items, not fast paced enough to get through items. Music was a distraction for the seller.

Jan 03Reply

naturella1@dyeggs Hello dear, for starters i'm disappointed in your comment for the simple fact that she does not owe you anything. She runs others items out of the kindness of her heart trying to help others. Your comment shows how entitled and inconsiderate you are and that's very disappointing to see. I hope in 2023 you develop patience and understanding and the wisdom to have more grace toward yourself and others. Be blessed

Jan 03Reply

dyeggs@naturella1 I was patient for HOURS, ,and she said my name was on the list in the beginning of the show.. shoes me. , So it was very disappointing. Not my type of show. The for your feedback. Everyone is entitled to there opinion It is not a criticism just some feedback for future shows.

Jan 03Reply

naturella1@dyeggs Even so, you are proving my earlier point. She does not OWE you anything does she?

Jan 03Reply

kellyanne1111@lvburgess74 LOVE your shows! I like varied shows. The Sharing shows are fun, but sometimes people share, and are only there to try and sell their item, rather than making a purchase. A couple of shows have run a few items from peoples closets that have purchased from them. Kind of like a reward for visiting and making a purchase…not a gift card, but a potential sale. I like to support my fellow PFF’s ❤️ and purchase and enjoy the friendship between buyers and sellers…❤️
