SOLD Vintage Shields Inc Enamel Embellished Powder Compact

Offered here is a lovely vintage compact made by Shields Inc. It is a brass compact covered front and back with red enamel. A metal floral embellishment decorates the top of the compact. It would have held powder, the original puff is included but it isn't usable. The company used the name Shields from 1936 until 1942 so we know this compact is at least 80 years old. It is signed as pictured making this compact very collectible. It displays beautifully and could be carried in your bag with a little extra cleaning. It is in good vintage condition with some age related wear to the finish. The closure works well and the hinges are in excellent condition. Vintage signed Shields Inc powder compact.
