Hi-lovely piece-do you have documentation on the history of this? Would love for my husband-just was wondering if there is documentation of its history. Also, is the black smudge on the front, where it is worn, or is it some sort of black mark? Thanks so much!

@tknan94 Thank you for checking out my store This piece is solid sterling silver and there is no smudge.It is just a shadow All of my antiques are polished and cleaned before shipment I will have to post some better pictures.I purchased this piece in 2011 at the Santa Barbara California Mission. The pendant had been in their collection for 45 years and belonged to a soldier.Unfortunately,that is all I could get out of the monks that were offering the collection.Sorry I missed your offer.

@og8goods That's a beautiful piece and a beautiful story that the monks kept if for the soldier. We are devout Catholics and from a large military family. It is a beautiful piece that I would love to purchase for my husband. Do you know if the soldier was a chaplain? Merry Christmas!!!🎄🙏🏻

@tknan94 Thank You. I will post some better pictures of this one. The glare in the photo makes it hard to see. It is mother of pearl and Sterling silver. I purchased this along with the one that you purchased.

@tknan94 It won’t let me post a picture so you’ll have to check it out in my store. It is the first one made out of Sterling, silver and mother of Pearl.
