I POSTED THIS BANNER RIGHT AFTER THE LIVE SHOW ROLL OUT WHICH WAS NOVEMBER 2022.. I STILL HATE LIVE SHOWS AND WILL NOT PARTICIPATE, WHICH IS MY CHOICE AND SHOULDN'T CAUSE SALES TO DIE.. I'M A SMALL CLOSET, THIS IS NOT HOW I MAKE A LIVING AND HAVE NO PLANS OF EXPANDING. I SELL ITEMS FROM PERSONAL CLOSETS THAT ARE NO LONGER WANTED.. SOME NEW AND SOME PRE LOVED. I REALIZE MANY RESELL TO MAKE A LIVING SO, SINCE THE MANY MONTHS THE LIVE SHOWS ROLLED OUT, IT'S "ALLEGEDLY" NOW QUICK AND EASY TO GAIN LIVE ACCESS. JOIN A POSH AND SIP TO GET BUMPED UP IN LINE (THAT'S WHAT THEY SAY NOT ME) IF UR NOT COMFORTABLE ACTING A FOOL LIKE MOST OF THEM, DO SILENT SHOWS TO BUMP UP UR ALGORITHM AND GAIN MORE TRAFFIC IN UR CLOSET. I GET PEOPLE WANT TO UNITE AND COMPLAIN, I WAS ONE OF THEM, BUT THATS SOMETHING EVERYONE DID LAST YEAR. IT'S BEEN 7 MONTHS. AND UNFORTUNATELY LIVES ARE HERE TO STAY..AGAIN, LET ME BE CLEAR, I LOATHE THE LIVE SHOWS. THEY'VE ATTRACTED SKETCHY SELLERS AND SKETCHY BUYERS, BUT LETS TAKE A DEEP BREATH AND MAKE THE BEST OF IT.

tikigirl100@bubbles1971 yes, they do, and they offer lots of different shipping options. I’ve been crushing it with the sales over there, 12 items in 2 days!

tikigirl100
tikigirl100@bellanova88 I agree, total bait and switch situation here. I’ve been actively unfollowing anyone who does a live show, and stopped sharing as well. I’ll keep my Posh account open, but not going to waste anymore of my time with their silly games. I’ve had great success moving my things over to another platform, can barely keep up with the sales!

kathrynclarke_1No kidding I started my closet about a month before the shows started The first month was great and then crickets there will be a lot off us sitting on stock this season I wish I’d known this was going to be the direction they were going 😞
Nov 22Reply
kathrynclarke_1

playitagainpm
playitagainpm@katebreen13 I'm so sorry! if it makes you feel any better, many of us with established closets are going thru the same.. sales just stopped. people now expect items to be sold at $3 and $5..
Nov 22Reply
kathrynclarke_1
kathrynclarke_1Yeah I know I imagine many poshers have invested a lot off time and money in their holiday closets and are sitting on a lot of stock perhaps this is not the best time off year to test this with a small exclusive group of poshers

kathrynclarke_1It becomes more about being a “PERSONALITY ” to sell I watched a girl run an auction from inside Walmart or target out of a shopping cart! It was insane lol
Nov 22Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@katebreen13 Ya know if PM is going to let people have their own shows than make them pay a monthly fee.. this is a reseller platform.. I believe people were taking in the sales before.. I was understand things change BUT when these changes bring negative results for most, it's a bust..

sharonposher
sharonposherI think the live shows are a good idea; however, they should be rotated so everyone can do one if they like. Instead there are the same sellers on almost everyday.
Nov 26Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@sharonposher it's never a good idea when it causes a negative effect.
Nov 26Reply
sharonposher
sharonposher@diane_valdez We can all have our opinions. It’s a good idea if they did it so there is a positive affect for everyone who wishes to participate; if you don’t then you don’t. 😊

tauniakellerbyI started cross-listing everything on two other platforms. My PM sales almost totally died. I'm having much more success elsewhere. I'm so bummed because PM was my favorite.
Nov 29Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@tauniakellerby I'm so sorry ur going thru this too! This was such a great platform.. I cross listed a few items on another platform too but shipping is very confusing.. PM was what I called an affordable The Real Real.. praying it all gets better❤️🌹
Nov 29Reply
tauniakellerby
tauniakellerby@diane_valdez I'm praying it gets better too. PM does make shipping easy but if you ain't selling anything... You get used to the shipping on other platforms, it just takes a minute. Basically, if it's over a pound, it's gotta go priority (or parcel post). Good luck to you ❤
Nov 30Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@tauniakellerby I guess I was just spoiled here in PM with shipping . It's easy peasy. Thank u so much! I pray everything settles and gets some normalcy back in terms of sales. Wishing u many sales❤️🧑‍🎄

Dec 05Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@janus660 I wasn't granted access and have no desire to go live. I have noticed the live shows don't really show up in my feed anymore.. honestly if it ain't broke don't fix it.. if people wanna go live they can sell on tik tok.. PM is still getting their 20%. I hope people completed the survey.

bohobargains4u
bohobargains4uMy sales have gone to about zero since the live shows started. I was already giving away my items at below-bargain prices. I am not happy they did not allow everyone to do the live shows. I am a posh posh ambassador II since the live shows my sales have gone to about zero. If they do not change this platform back to way it use to be without live shows. I will delete my closet.
Dec 08Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@bohobargains4u I'm so sorry! I wish PM would listen to the majority of sellers. No one should be going thru this especially a PM ambassador ll!! try another platform. The one that begins with an M. I tested the waters and I've had good luck there so far. Test it and see what happens.. DON'T GIVE UP!!❤️❤️

jbobeenie
jbobeenieSAME!!! UGH. There must be a solution to help us regular sellers. I do like watching the live shows for entertainment - but I have to say some of the live shows are great and some are awful.. like terrible and almost embarasing to watch. I really think Poshmark needs to impose rules of how the shows are run and obviously they need to offer more training and somehow filter out the totally stupid ones. And people that are selling stuff for $3.....what is that? you make .05 cents.
Dec 22Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@jbobeenie if I want to be entertained I'd go to a movie.. PM is a shopping app. shop at ur own pace NOT A 30 SECOND AUCTION! a lot of sellers have TOO MUCH INVENTORY and want to get rid of it so they push $3 and $5..people will buy bundles of items.. At least that's what I think..I want nothing to do with live shows.. sell or watch
Dec 22Reply
jbobeenie
jbobeenie@diane_valdez I 100% agree! I hope things get better for all of us .

duganfamilyInteresting comments. I agree totally. I am bombarded daily with communications about live shows. Some Poshers seem to have three or four shows a day. Ridiculous.😠 i’m just a part-time posher trying to downsize my closet after retirement. So my inventory is what it is. I can’t imagine what it would be like if this was a full-time endeavor

playitagainpm
playitagainpm@melson6971 I have no desire to go live BUT so many want the opportunity to do so.. I sometimes look at how many people are watching a show.. some will have 4 to 8 others maybe 15..The sellers that will showcase other closets items have over 100 people watching. They're so desperate to get an item shown.. Not worth it.. I'm not clear as to how PM chose the closets that they did.. I'm so sorry..Praying it gets better🌹
Jan 26Reply
melson6971
melson6971@diane_valdez I’ll keep praying right with you. I also had not paid attention ( until I read the comments here) that some people are having multiple shows per day! When I was blocking is when I noticed it ! I used to love poshmark 😢
Jan 26Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@melson6971 Yeah.. Some just sit and BS with people.. Some think they're TV stars and try to be funny and entertaining. Honestly, if these people are going to take up all this space then they should pay a monthly fee to go live!

funkyfindsgaI just quit my job to be closer to my aging parents, found out my mother has breast cancer, my father had lung cancer. My Mom taught me reselling 35 years ago. She owned a consignment store & it’s always been my dream to own my own. It’s my passion to resell. I don’t want to go live. Live shows have changed a lifelong dream into a nightmare. I wish we could just go back to the way it was. I don’t need to make much to get by but I need to make something.

awesluxury90210
awesluxury90210I agree! No sales and low offers. buyers are bundling 12 items and offering $50. um no thanks. The best part of the low offers is they are Poshmark Ambassadors doing the low balling.

missmansouri
missmansouriTelling each other we all agree won’t do anything to fix the issue. If Poshmark stays tell the company they making more money because people are doing live shows, they don’t care much losing other sellers, unless they get enough people to say they are leaving Poshnark. Got to get them where it hurts, in THEIR wallets! .They should care but, I don’t think they do .
Feb 17Reply
missmansouri
missmansouri@diane_valdez - not surprised!! They are probably making more money since they added Poshmark live shows.
Feb 17Reply
missmansouri
missmansouriHate to start all over, on another platform to sell my items but, my sales have significantly dwindled since live shows started. I’m even making a lower offer than usual to “likers” and no response.
Feb 17Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@missmansouri Keep ur PM closet.. don't give up BUT start listing on Merc*** little by little... I was confused about shipping at first but I catch on quickly.. No, they don't care.. I came across a closet that does live shows that has counterfeit LV and YSL bags.. Not sure if she includes them in live shows.. I've reported to PM several times but the bags are still in her closet.. Hoping for the best for all of us!
Feb 17Reply
missmansouri
missmansouri@diane_valdez - thanks for replying. I guess Poshmark doesn’t really care, since they’re making money on everything that gets sold. Very unethical!! I guess, at the end of the day , they don’t really care. I’ll keep my PM closet but. look for other plat as well. Good luck to us all!!
Feb 17Reply
awesluxury90210
awesluxury90210@missmansouri hello, I started selling on other platforms and do much better. Poshmark sellers only do good now if you sell on live shows or have a YouTube channel.
Feb 17Reply
missmansouri
missmansouri@awesluxury90210 - thanks for the reply . how many items did you already move to another platform? Same prices? Is it easy to build a following on the other platform? What platform did you go with? I really don’t have much time to deal with this which is why I am disappointed with what happened with my sales, since the live shows.
Feb 17Reply
awesluxury90210
awesluxury90210@missmansouri The platforms start with e and m. you don't share items like Poshmark. I don't worry about followers on those, the algorithm is different on those. I have over 100 items on those

Feb 18Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@endira88 Start listing on Merc***! I'm not interested in doing live shows nor will I support them BUT if you are, someone said you can request to do a show. It takes a few weeks or a couple weeks for PM to give access. Contact member support and see if they respond with direction on what to do.. I pray for all of us!
Feb 18Reply
endira88
endira88@diane_valdez thanks and I do sell on there as well. I will never do a live show myself but may do a silent one only to see if it kicks up the algorithm if I ever get access. It said there’s a 16 week wait so it won’t be anytime soon lol
Feb 18Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@endira88 OMG! Someone said it was 2?! Still don't know what criteria was used to gain access to live shows nor did PM release any type of statement with the info.. Good luck..hope u get it silent I've show soon!🌹

Feb 24Reply
kalina721

montanacow_girlI’ve been selling on PM for a few years now. My dip in sales, especially this month, has been terrible! I actually took the time to count my live show notifications on my feed from the past 24 hours I had 601 !!!!! 😡 I’m beyond frustrated! Live shows are completely destroying comps and really hurting sellers! Cont.
Feb 24Reply
montanacow_girl
montanacow_girl@diane_valdez, Thank you for putting this up! I think every seller experiencing this should also either copy this, or create their own, & keep it as their first listing in their closet. The good news is that actually found this by searching on google because it’s a listing! 🤩 Maybe Poshmark will finally hear us through negative marketing! Lets flood the feed & web with, “YOUR SALES DIED TOO?” listings, because we need a solution to this mess!
Feb 24Reply

Yeah, PM doesn't care so all of this doesn't matter to them.. all I can say is DON'T WATCH DONT BUY. BTW there isn't a way for the live show notifications to be turned off. They are like the Party notifications.. They will come thru no matter what.. Best of luck

playitagainpm@awesluxury90210 Yes, another day... DON'T WATCH DONT BUY
Feb 24Reply
montanacow_girl
montanacow_girl@diane_valdez Nope! Don't watch, don't buy. I know its tempting for some sellers to buy from shows to resell, but they're screwing themselves by lowering their own comps and lowering profits for all of us . And yes, .. any posh listing created will show up on a search engine like google, if the keywords you type are in your listing. Hopefully PM will at least separate those that want to do lives and those that don't. They don't blend well on the same platform rn! Best wishes to you too!

biscuit77
biscuit77@diane_valdez I'm assuming you made a business out of reselling, why cant they?! I enjoy lives and really enjoy the ones where they have other people add to their tray to help out. I don't just watch lives to buy things, I scroll through hundreds of different listings a day, though I don't have to try and validate myself to you. you keep doing you and I'll keep doing me. 😒 🙄
Feb 24Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@biscuit77 . I'm glad u enjoy live shows.. lots of people do.. However, there are those that work hard for years building their closets and just choose not to do live shows. AGAIN, this choice shouldn't effect sales for these closets..I'm sorry ur unable to understand any of this and I don't know why you are getting involved in a question that was directed to someone else but ok.. congratulations on doing you.. carolsturgeon
carolsturgeonSince live shows began my sales have died. They were never lower than they were in February. I don't understand how sellers can sell things for $3 or $5 and make enough profit to compensate for the time and effort. Quality on Poshmark is tanking and some of the shows are very poorly done. I'm so disappointed and will stop selling if things don't turn around soon.
Mar 06Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@carolsturgeon start listing on Merc***
Mar 06Reply
carolsturgeon
carolsturgeon@diane_valdez I do. I've sold online since 2007. I've seen platform after platform change and cater to biggest sellers or allow sellers to undercut everyone else. Poshmark was one of my last hopes. Postage cost increases don't help either. I rarely buy online anymore because there are too many sellers who misrepresent what they sell. Too many poor quality items. It impacts those of us who pay attention to detail and stand by what we sell with integrity.
Mar 06Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@carolsturgeon Postage is a dirty word.. I just had an item from Merc*** post proceeds BUT with a postage adjustment which I had to pay for. Because the item was 2 OZ over the 1lb they charged me double of what the initial postage was.. this is the 2nd time it's happened.. although they don't take as much of sales proceeds as PM, it's the shipping that gets me.. Haven't had a sale here on PM in over a week
Mar 06Reply
carolsturgeon
carolsturgeon@diane_valdez I feel your pain. I know things change and that as sellers we have to adapt and change based on the market. When increasing costs and low ball sellers drive many of us out of business there isn't much we can do to compensate. I can't give things away and I can't absorb shipping costs. I'm considering finding a niche market but have to do some research. I'm tired of the struggle. Maybe it's time to quit. It was a great run while it lasted.

Mar 12Reply
alexchris_89
alexchris_89@bohobargains4u good because I’m not interested in their garage sale shows or notifications for them. It’s in poor taste on Posh’s part it can’t be turned off so those that aren’t interested don’t get their likes or offers lost in their unwanted notifications!
Mar 12Reply
bohobargains4u
bohobargains4u@alexchris_89 Open the Poshmark App: Go to notifications Scroll down until you see Posh Shows if the button is green it is on if it not green its off. After that you have keep scrolling all the way down in notifications. Keep scrolling all the way to the list and if you still Posh Shows make sure to turn toggle that one off as well. So far this is working for me. I will put a ad up in my closet with pictures if that will help you. You have to make sure you find both of the them for it work! :)
Mar 13Reply
alexchris_89
alexchris_89@bohobargains4u thank you:) I appreciate your response! I just looked in my notifications to make sure that both are toggled off and they are. I do still get them in my “news” on the app though and wish there was a way to get rid of the notifications too…

bohobargains4u@alexchris_89 It makes me want to make a closet named Poshliveshowssuck. I feel the same way Diane does it has killed my sales. I I work hard to offer my items are bargains but now my sales have dropped so much I am now on the platform that begins with a M that Diane referred me too to try out. I am against to live shows there are only platforms that carter to live shows and videos.
Mar 13Reply
alexchris_89
alexchris_89@bohobargains4u I totally agree. I’ve been on Posh since 2016 and it’s just a side hustle but it’s really something I enjoyed doing. I did venture out to the “M” site a few years ago and also a “C” site where I also cross reference my items. Posh has always been my favorite but not anymore:(. I’m so disappointed and disheartened that this site has become a large live garage sale. I can’t compete with items going for $3 and $5. It’s not worth my time. This site has become a clown show tbh…:(
Mar 13Reply
bohobargains4u
bohobargains4u@alexchris_89 I agree 100%! When you add up the cost of gas, shipping materials, etc. I would be better off having a garage sale at home. I have always been good to my peers. I offer huge discounts on bundles. The lowest I use to go was $7 or $8. I have lowered my price to $5 with no shipping discount. I offered shipping discount when my sales were up.

bohobargains4u
bohobargains4u@awesluxury90210 I have been listing on other platforms as well. My sales have flat lined as well. I already provided great bargains. Like Diane says we have to Voice how we feel. melson6971
melson6971I now sell on three other re-sell sites and have created spreadsheets. In the month of March alone I have twice as many sales on the other sites than on Poshmark. Looking back on my spreadsheets there is a direct correlation to when live shows started. I’m not pushing Poshmark sales any longer and am starting to move away from listing new stuff on here.
Mar 27Reply
kalina721
kalina721@melson6971 If I may ask, which sites? I'm thinking one is M & maybe E? I finally got 2 sales over the weekend but hadn't sold anything in over 2 weeks, even after lowering prices. So discouraging 😞
Mar 27Reply
melson6971
melson6971@kalina721 yes, you are correct E and M . Downside to M is shipping went up and limited options for shipping. But, both sites take fewer selling fees.

kalina721@melson6971 Thank you. I've got some on M right now but need to work a little harder there. also look into the other. it's so frustrating because right about the time the lives started, I invested heavily in inventory (too heavily it seems) but on the plus

melson6971@kalina721 it is frustrating ! I am so tired of having items marked down to $5 and people wanting for less. Poshmark cut on an item under $15 is $2.95. It’s not worth it ! Mar 28Reply
kalina721
kalina721@jillian0404 I turned off those notifications also but I'm getting more & more every day. I believe because I've followed a lot of those doing the live shows so unfollowing them will be the only way to stop those. Also there's one seller who has been doing 3-4 shows per day which is crazy.
Mar 28Reply
kalina721
kalina721@lmnopearce I've watched shows of people who I've gotten to know & communicate with on here & those shows are ok. But so many of the others are just an embarrassment. There's absolutely no quality control here

jillian0404@kalina721 I actually missed two offers as they were mixed in with hundreds of live shows last month. That's when I contacted poshmark support. I'm still hoping that we will have a button in the app soon and can just toggle them off.

lilithonyx111
lilithonyx111I've seen a huge drop in sales and now embarrassingly low ball offers its ridiculous. Now everyone wants steak at baloney prices how are you supposed to compete. The site is turning into a garage sale. people who attend the shows see the majority of sellers selling M.k and Coach bags at 10$ buyers who do shop closets now expect to see ridiculously low prices and if they dont they move on to a closet that does. sellers who price there items at 5$ are bringing down the market value of the item.

melson6971@diane_valdez yep, I block those people as well. Worst part is that often they are sellers on P. I’ve come close to offering them $5 on a $50 item, to prove a point. I did not because I’m better than that !

88prettythings@diane_valdez I’ve read the comments here and agree! No sales for me in a long time! Poshmark seems to have become a live sale platform and that’s it. I will need to rethink my path. Maybe go back to the flea markets. If I’m going to give it away for 3 dollars, I might as well do it in person. Question: why/how are people selling other Poshers things in their shows? Are they making money to do that?
Apr 05Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@88prettythings Why are they selling other closet items? Because they think they're helping .. I don't need their pity.. sitting hoping ur listing is next and hoping it sells.. no thanks

missmansouri
missmansouri@martadesign - I don’t understand how sellers make money when they sell items for $3-8.00. in live shows. U barely make anything if you sell an item for $15. w/ discounted shipping (which u r forced to give) if you offer a 10% discount. 👎
Apr 08Reply

missmansouri@melson6971 - I’ve unfollowed all people doing live shows. I still get notifications about their live shows! 👎. I toggled turn off notifications about live shows. Still showing ! WTH??
Apr 08Reply
missmansouri
missmansouri@diane_valdez I don’t understand why live show sellers are selling other peoples items either. I popped into a couple of live shows. for a minute or two. Most of the presenters are awful.Poshmark doesn’t give a crap! They are probably making more money (in volume ) even though prices are rock bottom or they wouldn’t be having live shows.
Apr 08Reply
melson6971
melson6971@missmansouri I am having the same problem ! I think that only the people you unfollow don’t show yo in your feed. It’s like a full time job ! I followed all the steps and it didn’t work. So frustrating!!

missmansouri@melson6971 I am listing my items on other social media selling platforms. I think a lot of Poshmark sellers are jumping ship! As long as they are making money, Poshmark doesn’t give a crap. 👎
Apr 08Reply
melson6971
melson6971@missmansouri they really don’t ! I am starting to wonder if their goal is to turn P into nothing but an auction site. If they do that I’m out! Doing better on other resell sites anyway!

poshsalesgirl
poshsalesgirl@diane_valdez I am totally with you. This platform has been destroyed. I spent years building up my shop and reputation on this site. Now it does ZERO good to share items and help promote one another - that was part of the premise of this site. Im also frustrated as a buyer. The search algorithms are so messed up that it’s impossible to find what I want. FED UP. 😒
Apr 08Reply
poshsalesgirl
poshsalesgirl@missmansouri absolute truth!
Apr 08Reply
poshsalesgirl
poshsalesgirl@88prettythings They don’t make money by offering other people’s items. The reason they do it is to draw bigger crowds to the sale. The other person has to be present at the sale in order for their item to be featured, so the person running the show has another potential buyer for their own items. The concept is interesting, but Poshmark has been destroyed. So much for sticking to their core.
Apr 08Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@poshsalesgirl Yeah, the search algorithm is waaaayyy off!! I really feel ur frustration and I'm so sorry.. The devaluing of some higher end items is horrible!!! I see alot of counterfeit items, too.. When I started 5 years ago, my intention was to clear my closet.. Many closets are lively hoods that are just destroyed.. Please don't give up.. sell on other platforms but keep this closet as well.. We need more people to follow my golden rule.. "DONT WATCH DONT BUY"
Apr 08Reply
88prettythings
88prettythings@poshsalesgirl thanks much for the input. I had no idea how that all worked. The few shows I have watched ( trying to get a handle on it) just confused me even more! Maybe buyers will get tired of the ‘shows’ format. I still have not made a sale, it’s about a month now, not even an offer, which I pretty much accept all offers. Any way to discourage the growth/expansion of this ‘new’ Poshmark, count me in.
Apr 09Reply
88prettythings
88prettythings@poshsalesgirl My closet is entirely my personal & family’s items.I have not made an investment on inventory like so many PM sellers have done. I just want to pass along items that no longer fit or I do not need anymore.I accept most & past offers have been reasonable. shows selling at 3-5 $? After PM fees, it’s not worth cost of wrapping, card, gift & tape for shipping! I have much more to list but I’m holding off. I feel terrible for all of you out there with large inventory investments.

kalina721@diane_valdez Found this article online at Glossy.co - "Poshmark Introduces Livestream Shopping Tool for Sellers" 4/5/23. "Posh Shows allows any user to livestream their closet's items with a live auction. People without official Poshmark closet listings can also sign up and start listing pieces for sale in real-time." ANY user? No official listings? Really? There are other similar articles from the last few weeks on different sites.

Apr 10Reply
kalina721
kalina721@missmansouri yes, tons of them. mainly from people I do not follow, even with notifications turned off. Yesterday, I missed a great offer on something I had liked because of all those notifications. I didn't miss any notifications for sales, though. 😂 because I'm not getting any.
Apr 10Reply
missmansouri
missmansouri@kalina721 - I totally understand the frustration! Can u go back to the seller and ask them if they can make the offer again, if it expired? missmansouri@shoregirl73 our words& complaints mean nothing to Poshmark - I guess they are making more $ since live shows started! They dint seem to care how many sellers are jumping ship, to other platforms. 👎🤬 if it hit the bottom line, they’d care.!
Apr 13Reply
dianeovrgrd
dianeovrgrd@missmansouri It might take a little bit of time but it will affect them eventually!!! They need a separate app for live shows and separate it from the existing platform.

aquamariyaThis is so true! When I first started using Poshmark in 2016, I received a decent amount of likes, comments, sales, and just general activity on my account (despite having terrible pictures, lol 😅). k_pannulloI’m 💯💯💯 w/ you! This is why most of the veteran Posher’s that I know (myself included) have moved away from Posh & begun to focus on other platforms. Who can blame them?!? We’ve hung on long enough! This is all normal for the newbies….this is what they were introduced to, & is all they know. Hence, why bargain basement $$ are expected (& on occasion, even demanded) when normally shopping in closets.……..
Apr 17Reply
k_pannullo
k_pannullo(CONT’D)……This is beyond unfair for Posher’s who have items in their closets which cost them some serious $$$ in the 1st place out of their own pockets. Why would they sell this merch for $10-20? It’s all absolutely ridiculous, & will only continue to get worse.

I noticed a BIG TIME PM SELLER that I follow on the gram is now pushing her wn closet.. That platform is ALL LIVE SELLING.. I mean, there's so much potential with the new owners perhaps having 2 platforms.. POSHMARK LIVE AND POSHMARK..it would be a win win for everyone!!

simply_madison
simply_madisonSelling items at $3 and $5 is devaluing another people items and I don’t know what profit anyone is making from that nonsense. What profit is Poshmark getting from that nonsense? It is also messing up comps when buyers check for similar items and see it was previously sold for $5 or $10 they expect other sellers to offer them a lower price. It’s just so annoying and is completely destroying reselling on Poshmark!
Apr 20Reply
tlsee4u
tlsee4uI can’t stand the live shows or the “auction”. If I want to auction my clothes I would choose a different company to sell them through. Now I have other poshmark sellers that offer me the biggest lowball offers just so that they can turn around and sell it for $3 on their shows. Its turned into a live podcast and not even about selling anything. My sales have tanked tremendously or any offer that I get is not even worth the hassle.
Apr 20Reply

Apr 20Reply
simply_madison
simply_madison@diane_valdez I am with you too. Thanks for posting your initial comment about live sellers devaluing this platform sales for everyone. Nobody said you can’t sell some items at a lower price but some of us spend money for the items we resell and not everyone goes to thrift stores and buy items for $1 or$2.
Apr 20Reply
simply_madison

Apr 20Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@ujeanco YOU can't buy anything from thrift stores for $1 or $2 anymore.. Resellers drove prices up. the sellers that are selling items so cheap are coming from palettes, dirty bins at the goodwill (this where thrift stores send unsold inventory).. there's enough $$ to be nade by all but some are just greedy
Apr 20Reply
tlsee4u
tlsee4u@ujeanco your right. It’s super annoying! It must be nice to have that kind of time to host several shows a day. Sometimes everyday. I’m starting to block these people because it’s so intrusive. Have you seen some of these shows? Sometimes they are rambling about nothing and not even selling clothes. It’s on online podcast or like YouTube.
Apr 20Reply

Apr 20Reply
tlsee4u
tlsee4uI’m wondering if the powers that be at Poshmark are aware or even care that it is creating such a divisive situation. That in order for you to have your own show you have to be an “ambassador”. I’m just trying to make a $ here and there. Not become a poshmark celebrity. PM has really taken a wrong turn.

Apr 27Reply

tlsee4u@rbw7683 Same here. In the event that I do receive an offer, it is a ridiculous lowball offer on stuff that is already discounted. I look at their pages and they are all from ambassadors who have live shows.
Apr 27Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@tlsee4u Well, I am a PM ambassador II, but by the looks of it, that means squat.. I have no interest in doing live shows. I know some out there are still waiting for access. What I don't understand is how people with 100 or 200 listing are already going live or closets with 30p listings are already ambassador II's.. so.e live closets have become slimey. if I get an offer, I check if they do live shows, and if they do, I won't sell. dreamgems4ever@diane_valdez thank you! I sent this email (copy below) to posh expressing my disappointment. I am extremely disappointed that all the changes Poshmark has made. Seems to me that whatever these $5 live shows are all about is creating a major "flea market" junk yard sale approach and makes no financial business sense for Poshmark. It was great while it lasted but I'm taking my 300k Followers and finding a new journey
Apr 29Reply

playitagainpm@dreamgems4ever I sent a couple of those emails, too.. perhaps they want younger people selling? like on ttk or turn it into a live garage sale like wtn. I can't mention the platforms here. it's all about the bottom line, and maybe these live shows are making more $$, which I doubt.

ldemarco6
ldemarco6I'm not interested in doing or watching live shows. Really don't want to sell elsewhere but due to what's going on with PM, looks like it's time to list elsewhere
Apr 29Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@ldemarco6 I think there's a lot of us that don't want to do live shows/auctions. I certainly will not watch or buy from LIVE shows.. non livers are in limbo as well as those that want to go live, but PM is not allowing them
Apr 29Reply
ldemarco6
ldemarco6They should definitely separate regular sellers from the shows. I'm really tired of my feed being full of show announcements even though I tried turning them off and have resorted to unfollowing people that do shows
Apr 29Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@ldemarco6 I've been unfollowing and blocking.. that seems to be working
Apr 30Reply
379_vintage
379_vintageI agree and I dislike the lives and being bombarded with the notifications. Another new addition they are currently testing with select poshers (if you haven't heard yet) is Promoted Listings! From what I understand they will be paying a fee to promote their closet to get more views and clicks which is supposed to of course lead to more sales. As if their already high fees are not enough. This will obviously only benefit the larger closets.
Apr 30Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@dreamgems4ever I just wanted to let you know that there's a message at the top of notifications saying you automatically become a show host by watching a live show. Just thought to let you know so you can try again! Good luck!!
May 01Reply
dreamgems4ever
dreamgems4ever@diane_valdez wow that's helpful for everyone to know. Thank you! Although I'm not into doing a Live show I may need to jump on the wagon.

alexchris_89
alexchris_89@diane_valdez actually, it’s if you attend a Posh Party not just watch a live show. I don’t have F*ceboom nor do I want it and as far as I can tell that’s the only way to attend a Posh Party

playitagainpm
playitagainpm@alexchris_89 I'm not interested in going live, so I don't know the specifics.. I'm still waiting for PM to explain what the criteria was at the start to choose those that went live..

alexchris_89
alexchris_89@diane_valdez I’m not interested in going live either. I think the live shows are personally anything I’d want to do or waste my time watching
May 02Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@alexchris_89 I don't and won't watch or support live shows until PM makes it an even playing field for both sides. I u flow and block all closets that have live shows
May 02Reply
ldemarco6
ldemarco6@379_vintage oh so the fees and high shipping charges aren’t enough- now PM wants to charge for something else!?!!? Really unfortunate- this used to be a great selling place
May 06Reply
379_vintage
379_vintage@ldemarco6 Yep. I honestly think that is why they changed the algorithm for the searches, I don't think it's so much the lives that are making the sales go down, I think it's something to do with how visible our closets are. It used to be that you could share your closet and then go search for an item in
May 06Reply
379_vintage
379_vintage@ldemarco6 your closet to see if its in the feed, but for months now many users are experiencing that their closet is not visible in the feed at all no matter how far down they scroll. This gives posh the advantage to charge us all to make our closets visible. I could be wrong lol but that's my theory.
May 06Reply
ldemarco6
ldemarco6@379_vintage so frustrating- Pm doesn’t need to do anything but collect $$ We post, we share, we make offers, we ship and they cash checks. How greedy do they need to be? We obviously aren’t making a ton of money and certainly aren’t making what our items are worth-how much more can they hurt our small businesses
May 06Reply
379_vintage
379_vintage@ldemarco6 yep. I just pray they do not end up rolling this feature out. The only closets that will benefit are the ones that bring in a lot of money, it will make it almost impossible for the rest of us and I don't know if it will even be worth any of it at that point. All we can do is see how it goes and try and find other platforms in the meantime. I do like PM but the way it's been lately or since they changed ownership, it's just making it so difficult to even make a sale anymore.
May 06Reply
ldemarco6
ldemarco6@379_vintage I totally agree! Hope they think about people like us and not just about their bottom line!! They make enough money- try to help us out!! I will be forced to try other sites as well if they roll that out or if my sales don’t pick up 😢

bubbles1971
bubbles1971I don't understand why anyone would waste time selling for $3-$5 to make a whole 5 cents to $2- if I had items that cheap I'd rather throw it at the Goodwill and take the tax deduction, or have a rummage sale. Certainly not worth the Time, tape, pkg and gas

ptmerck
ptmerckMy sales have plummeted to basically nothing and I am sick to death of the endless live show notifications clogging up my feed. I contacted Poshmark support only to be told they can do nothing about them. Total lies!! So sad that what was once a great selling platform is such a joke now. Any recommendations for other selling platforms that are user friendly and care about ALL of their patrons?
May 08Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@ptmerck I sent GREAT offers over the weekend, but NOTHING!! Made 1 sale over the weekend, and that's it.. PM doesn't care.. A new SKorean company now owns PM.. Try Merc..if u want to go live try WN..I've seen lots of big posters transfer to that matket
May 08Reply
abirdseyeuk
abirdseyeukI'm increasingly getting fed up with Poshmark. You can never speak to a human when things go wrong, you just get a form email and never a direct response to your question. I see people selling fakes and nothing is done to those sellers yet I sold a pair of Vivienne Westwood boots that I bought in her shop in London and PM wouldn't authenticate them! The live shows have completely destroyed my sales. I used to make 5-8 sales per day, now I'm lucky if it's 1-2 per week
May 08Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@angiehillus I'm so aorry!! I don't know if things will be getting any better I'm just a small closet so 5 to 7 sales a week is a lot for me but I understand closets like yours I mean it has just affected all of you the most and it's heartbreaking for me
May 08Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@angiehillus YES!! MANY MANY COUNTERFWIT BAGS, JEWELERY, SUNGLASSES!!! I report them as I see them over and over again!! Remember, PM is owned by a South Korean company.. China, Korea, etc. all over tik tok peddling counterfeit bags.. maybe they think its not a problem.?!!😳 Keep reporting!!! DONT WATCH DONT BUY
May 08Reply
abirdseyeuk
abirdseyeuk@diane_valdez I watched a few seconds of a couple of live shows just to see what they were about and they're just painful to watch! I don't sell on PM to have to perform doing live shows. It's enough that we have to engage constantly by sharing. I'm glad that I sell on different sites but PM was great when it was simpler. Now it's just a s***show with live shows and low-ballers. giftoftheeagle
giftoftheeagle@diane_valdez I keep sharing this post to my followers. I also wrote to Posh to ask them to split the App into two apps Poshmark and Poshmark Live. Not sure I contacted the right people. if you get a minute can someone explain how to contact Poshmark Management? I also told them I had no desire for the live shows and our closets and comps were being crushed.
May 11Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@giftoftheeagle PM is well aware of what's going on.. thousands already sent in messages to customer support regarding the same thing.. They don't care.. saleslady58
saleslady58Live shows should be a separate venue entirely off of Poshmark! I’ve ever asked if there’s a way NOT to be notified of Live shows in our News. That should be an option we can turn off or on. Poshmark says there’s no way to stop these notifications. These are sellers I don’t follow so why would I want to know they’re going LIVE???
May 11Reply
saleslady58
saleslady58It’s time for someone to develop a new selling app with a similar design and benefits as Poshmark that would not allow live shows. I’d move in a moment’s notice.

thandiepixie
thandiepixieMy experience with the live shows is that sellers are now using the opportunity to sell fake items.. probably because there’s less scrutiny. I sell premier designer shoes and attended a live show of a very popular posh ambassador who routinely sells Louboutins and other designer brands. She was auctioning a pair of new size 5 Loubs for ridiculously low price so I joined the bidding and won.
May 13Reply
thandiepixie
thandiepixieNow I typically do not sell Loubs because I’m not familiar with how to authenticate them but I felt confident in purchasing this pair because they were from this particular seller. When they arrived, the body looked ok to my untrained eye but I thought the markings on soles and insoles were not quite like others I had seen however, I did not know enough to say they were fake and so I listed them.
May 13Reply
thandiepixie
thandiepixieNot 2 hours into the listing, a popular Loubs seller posted “SO FAKE” in all caps. I immediately deactivated the listing and reported to Poshmark. They had already released funds to the horrible seller but they still refunded my money to their credit. Lesson learned for me. I immediately stopped attending live shows and stock only to purchasing from my trusted supplier. I’ve never had a fake item reported and this experience really shook me up!
May 13Reply
thandiepixie
thandiepixieAny yes my sales have been pretty much dead for months. I went from selling 20+ items a month to selling 3 items monthly. Really sad situation and I too am considering switching platforms but spooked at all the work I’ll have to redo creating new listings all over
May 13Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@thandiepixie I've had people say really nasty things on listings.. The audacity! sales are very slow, yes AND YES, SO MANY COUNTERFEIT ITEMS BEING SOLD..I'm just so tired of the BS
May 13Reply
thandiepixie
thandiepixie@diane_valdez agree on the counterfeits and I can see why that would be so easy for the unscrupulous sellers. They literally hold up the item in a show and there is really no way to inspect the markings. Thanks for starting this thread. I found it by google searching dead closet poshmark 😄

playitagainpm@aylinkoksal I do a lot of unfollowing and blocking. that seems to be working.. People complain, but when given the chance, they jump on the live show band wagon.. I'm not interested and shouldn't be forced to go live or forced to go elsewhere because the app changes killed sales!!

playitagainpm
playitagainpm@roxy2929 I shouldn't have to be forced to give to make sales.. So many closets work so hard to get their osets to where they are now..I saw a closet yesterday with 84 listing gs doing a live show! there are closets with thousands of listi gs, hundreds of thousands of followers and made over $150k collectively during their time on PM. These people can't get approved to go live?! They don't care.. PM is owned by a South Korea company. The former Ceo mismanaged PM. No one cares about our closets
May 16Reply
roxy2929
roxy2929@diane_valdez I agree! It’s disgraceful what has happened to this platform. My sales like many have dried up! It’s like I’m invisible no matter how much I share or list. I have voiced my disappointment over and over to the ceo. Nobody’s flying this plane!

melson6971@thandiepixie have you tried using Vendo ? Makes listing so easy. There is a monthly fee but it’s awesome ! My sales are horrendous on here now. Thinking of closing my poshmark account. Doing WAY better with E and M . Another nice thing about Vendo is that when you sell an item you tell Vendo where you sold it and for how much and it delists automatically from the other sites. Anyway, I think we all agree that Poshmark just sucks now. Soon I will be gone from here.

freyas_rage
freyas_rageI’m standing with you! I have put my closet on vacation because my sales decreased so much that I would actually forget to look at my notifications for days, and then I missed the two sales I DID make for very very small earnings! If Live Shows don’t drastically become less annoyingly visible and detrimental to others’ reselling then I’m deleting my closet altogether. I could make more profit selling used Q-tips on another platform!

Or simply joke about something stupid!!! Because they get offended and the block you!. It’s like if we asked them if they stole those items. People in the chats bully and pick on each other like they are 5 yrs old. I’m sure most of you reading will know which sellers 🤔.

May 27Reply
rockinyourstyle
rockinyourstyleI stand with you 💯 I am very disappointed in Poshmark!! I used to get 35 sales a month, and now I work twice as much and only get about 17 sales. I can't believe Poshmark is hanging us out to dry!! The posh shows are unorganized and unprofessional and make the app look bad
May 27Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@rockinyourstyle I've made 12 sales this month but I'm a very small closet and no plans to expand.. if I can make $200, $300 a month, wow, that would be great!! I was pretty consistent with sales prior to live roll outs but. a couple or 3 times there was no movement in my closet, BUT it hit hard this month
May 27Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@rockinyourstyle I was in a Poshmark group on the eff bee all of this was discussed.. Personally, I felt more were suffering from the lives.. the others said we need to accept the change and the new direction PM is going.. before I go on, I will say this, we should have a choice to sell directly from closets or sell via live show bidding without it effecting our sales negatively.
May 27Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@rockinyourstyle I don't want to remain so opposed, against the I've shows so, I peeped into some. yeah, hot messes, not ready.. today I popped into 2.. 1 show had over 100 watchers and she was selling from a palette. most of it was actually cute and they ran $3 to $5 with bids on a couple items at $45.. I can't compete with that. but I have to say the seller was prepared and had help so the show ran smoothly
May 27Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@rockinyourstyle The only negative was that she didn't measure everything only some items and she didn't give what the material was for the items.. the 2nd show had 35 to 45 watchers.. it was a share show so I sent an item to the seller tray. it didn't sell.. it was mainly coach, dooney & bourke , mk bags selling very cheap.
May 27Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@rockinyourstyle I don't know how they do it but it's being done. I just wonder are all the people buying inventory for their closets? any way the 2nd seller was a bit unorganized and messy but in the end it all worked.. I stayed til the end of the show.. it was exhausting.. I think for closets like mine, I will have to keep listing my items on share shows... it's the only way to get traffic geared to my closet or items.. sorry long winded.. I'm really trying to now be open minded

ingridwhitworthI'm with you 1,000%! So over the lives shows and want no part in doing them. Poshmark is circling the drain. Their stock went public, then they sold to another company, stock has since been delisted and is now off of Nasdaq. With all the frustration, closets closing, and even buyers leaving, because of the ridiculous flooding of live show notifications (even with them turned off!), you would think they would make changes quickly to resolve the issues, but nooooo.

Jun 11Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@hourglassndaisy I see people buy jewelery on lives, and then the buyer sell it in their live shows. It seems the same items are making their rounds. playitagainpm@hourglassndaisy yeah, I don't support shady people.. intentionally buying from a fellow posher for practically nothing and reselling in their closet.. it happened to me with earrings.. sold a bundle for$12 and the buyer listed in her closet as vintage for $25 each.. it's the lie of the vintage that ticked me off

bkb1I stand with you in support I went from lots is sales before the live shows to. A big 0 with lots of lowball offers & people being crabby when I counter offer! With so many parties going on when you login you have to go to likes first and then comments because you’ll miss something. I’m going to hang in here & have high hopes it will change back. It’s comforting to know that there’s lots of us who feel the same way. Thanks for letting me vent

g_sliwinski@playitagainpm one women said she gets stuff for free or .49 cents from consignment shops then sells for 3-5 dollars. This is not fare. I only had to sales in about 12 months. My stuff is not from consignment shops. Posh just keeps telling me to share more. The company sold for 1billion and new people keeping Posh name.
Jun 12Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@g_sliwinski unfortunately that's the name of the game.. buy low sell high.. yeah, sharing sharing sharing.. u can bulk share which makes it so much easier.. try and follow 500 new poshers a day so u can get new eyes on ur closet. I'm in no way an expert but u may want to get rid of all those signs and move ur items to the top...
Jun 12Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@g_sliwinski bulk share ur closet AT LEAST 3 times a day EVERYDAY but I would recommend more than 3x daily.. Re list older items..
Jun 12Reply

g_sliwinski@playitagainpm we baby need a class action suit! So much waisted unpaid time. Posh sold for 1billion and new owner is keeping name. Posh is in trouble with government for stock fraud supposedly…..

playitagainpm@g_sliwinski they sold sometime last year to a huge tech firm in South Korea.. in terms of stock, I don't know because no one is answering questions.. anyway, u have some great stuff.. Maybe re photo using the same back ground.. Good luck!

g_sliwinski
g_sliwinskiThank you for your reply. It’s the lives killing my sales. These are the new photos also lowered prices. If you look on line Posh is in trouble. So I was told they slowed down sales to make stock shares better…

losangeles_love
losangeles_loveI literally was just talking to my husband about this. The shows have killed our sales and we were doing well. The shows start bids at so low & that’s what people are now heading towards. It’s not fair for those of us that have good products to sell AND WORTH MORE. Poshmark was suppose to be different from the other 4 letter online auction store that Poshmark will not let me write. Resorting to how they first started. Not with the live shows, but with the low low starting bids. WE PROTEST!

playitagainpm@losangeles_love Hi! oh, I contacted them as well, as I'm sure thousands of others. They do not respond... Lives are here to stay, unfortunately.. The only thing we can do is jump on the bandwagon and go live or do silent shoes.. I will not be doing either.. keep listing bulk share as many times a day as u can and follow at least 500 new closets a day.. all this needs to be done daily!!

losangeles_love
losangeles_love@playitagainpm I don’t know how much I believe that people are being proactive about this. I’m going to look for another platform where to sell. I am good at sharing etc. It’s not about that, not willing to sell items for three dollars or five dollars or seven dollars. That’s the way the other online auction store started years ago. I was with them over 20 years ago. Anyhoo I’m exploring other avenues. Thank you.

losangeles_love@playitagainpm was going to ask if anyone’s tried them. Been selling online for over 2 decades. Had an online store, started selling on PM 1 year ago. BIG drop of sales when those live shows came in. Will continue to research for other avenues. TYSM. Yes, it’s very frustrating. Is all they care about making $3 off of those $15 & under sales which is ridiculous. Again I have reached out to them, this is a real issue that is hurting many. Cheers💖
Jun 12Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@losangeles_love Just an FYI.. There are many sellers that say drop in sales is not bc of the lives. it's because of our closets😳 This is a side hustle for me.. losangeles_love
losangeles_love@playitagainpm PM pretty much implanted in potential buyers heads that they can get items as low as $3. tha so they'll wait to see if ones closet will go live. As of late a few buyers have retracted from their buy it now purchases. Which is also UNFAIR they get 3 hours to change their mind, 30 mins should be their window. That never use to happen before the LIVES.

365lovelife
365lovelifeI commented earlier on here. What I've noticed is Poshmark is becoming more of a yard sale site with many of these shows. Regarding notifications, I started to unfollow but what I've also noticed is I'll get 3-4 show notifications for one person within 15 min and why are we getting notifications for live shows in Canada when we can't even buy! We should be able to opt out of these notifications like we are given for other notifications.
Jun 13Reply
playitagainpm
playitagainpm@365lovelife I received notifications from 1 live show host about 28 within 52 minutes.. I monitored it.. I nicely mentioned it in her show, and her feathers got ruffled.. I get notifications from Canada too, and you know they're bringing live shows from India this month. I don't know ow if it's a 1 time thing but PM plans to go global.. All countries being able to shop in closets worldwide

playitagainpm@lrl72 they're really pushing live shows.. Are they going to do away with closet selling? who knows..not like they tell us..
Jun 16Reply
lrl72
lrl72@playitagainpm I don’t think PM will go back to the old (better) ways. Personally, I think everything about live shows is obnoxious, including the nonstop notifications. Browsing the shops (rather than attending a live auction for junk) was part of the PM experience. I wish a long-term Posher would start their own business to compete with PM and bring along the best parts of it. :)

giftoftheeagle
giftoftheeagle@playitagainpm Hi all! i just watched an AshleyWheeler8 interview on you tube and apparantely she just made $100,000 on live shows. Now because of needing to spend more time with her family and perhaps a bit of burn out she is only doing live shows once a week. She truly seems like a lovely and genuine person. She is now helping Poshmark teach about the live shows and says lives are here to stay.
Jun 18Reply
giftoftheeagle
giftoftheeaglei personally think the app is going to go to just lives. Apparently, also our closets are not shwing up in google searches, because the new owner wants it that way, in order to force more participation in live shows. I also heard someone else say the algorithm burys your closet if you don't participate in lives. while I don't know for certain if any of its true, it makes sense since sales have fallen off a cliff.
Jun 18Reply
giftoftheeagle
giftoftheeagleI don't know what Im going to do yet. I personally think this is a fad on poshmark and people will just burn out on it, unless they feel addicted to it, sort of like gambling. Lives feel way too much like 9-5 jobs and these people are not making money while they sleep. And it is a huge effort for little return. But of course Poshmark doesn't care since they are paid first.

jspotboutique
jspotboutiqueI can do lives but I can't do them often. I like looking for what I want and just buying or making an offer. I've been getting some ridiculous offers from people since lives shows have spread to more people and sales have dropped. I put work into my closet on here. I have a variety of items and nice stuff but I'm not selling it for $3 or $5...... or selling a Louis Vuitton Bag for $100..... it's insane the offers I get now. I got a few ridiculous offer before but now it's out of hand.
Jun 23Reply
jspotboutique
jspotboutiqueAnd it will take forever to crosslist my entire closet. I feel pressure to do lives because sales have gone down. It was much better before lives. They ruined poshmark. I don't dislike people who do them. I understand the pressure. I don't see stuff I'm actually looking for on lives most of the time. People are getting robbed on the shows... most of them. If you offer regular prices... still a deal... people aren't happy with that now. I've sent out lower offers too.

tikigirl100
tikigirl100Thanks for posting this! I’m just a few thousand shares away from becoming a Posh Ambassador 2, and ready to delete my account once I cross over to the other platforms. The shows have absolutely crushed my sales, and it’s no longer worth my time. It feels like Poshmark has turned into more of a TikTok platform than a community to resell items. My feed is filled with shows, and all the offers, likes and comments just get lost in the chaos. It’s disappointing, absurd, and just plain obnoxious.
Jun 29Reply
giftoftheeagle
giftoftheeagle@tikigirl100 Yea Posh is now awful. On the positive side, I did see there were some $6 starts. People starting to realize 0 profit is no fun. Lol.
Jun 30Reply
tikigirl100
tikigirl100@giftoftheeagle LOL, it’s all become a waste of my time, and crossing over to other platforms seems to be the move, especially if Narvar, the company that acquired Poshmark is ignoring our complaints. It all started going downhill when they took over. The live shows are the equivalent of walking into a store and being accosted by sales people. Who wants to shop like that?!? I’d prefer to browse in peace, and not have $6 junk that’s destined for the landfill shoved in my face.

tikigirl100@ndtradingpost yesterday I opened a Mer**** account, and sold a dress that was listed on Poshmark for over a year, within just a couple hours of listing. So far so good, and I like that it’s no nonsense. You don’t need 50,000 followers or to waste hours of your time sharing other people’s stuff to make a sale.

ndtradingpost@tikigirl100 mer**** is no nonsense compared to the time you gotta put in here, but, mer**** search results favor new listings, so for maximum effect you need to relist after some time, which I'm not a big fan of. but i have been with mer**** for 5 years, sold a fair amount of stuff. posh does beat mer **** every month for me though, as far as sales goes.

ldemarco6
ldemarco6@tikigirl100 so now in order to unfollow people you have to use two keystrokes - one to Unfollow and then another keystroke on the bottom to make it go thru. It’s bad enough we can’t stop all the annoying live show announcements on our feed but now it’s more work to unfollow. I complained about it but they just said they would send it to their development team ugh
Jul 02Reply
tikigirl100
tikigirl100@ldemarco6 thanks for the heads up! It’s so annoying that you can’t just turn off the “starts posh shows” (which I never turned on). I’m unfollowing everyone in my feed doing a show, and have all notifications turned off. It’s out of control.
Jul 02Reply
ldemarco6
ldemarco6@tikigirl100 I have the shows turned off too but it doesn’t work- I emailed PM about it and once again, they did nothing. Now you have to do 2 keystrokes to unfollow: when you hit the follow tab it used to just change to unfollow now when you hit it, it gives a drop down and you have to choose unfollow AGAIN. Like it wasn’t annoying enough doing it once ugh🤬

bellanova88 PM changed the Rules in the middle of the game. Yeah a lot of the live shows are cringy, campy , weird, whatever, that's what this platform wants to do? Very little trust in a platform that sets something up one way then changes the rules mid game when people have invested SO much. PM has poor business ethics. it doesn't care about the sellers obviously, just gimmicks and it's bottom line.
