Maggie Sottero wedding dress, size 12, “Nora” model. I wore this for a few hours at my wedding in Italy. It’s a very comfortable dress. Perfect blend of classy and sexy. It’s a really special gown, has sparkle and lace. The only alterations I did was to the chest and the internal skirt. I did NOT alter the length. I also added a hidden bustle option in the back. I used a very well known and expensive tailor, the work is well done. Please review my measurements below to see if you could either fit into the dress as-is or if you’re smaller, you can still tailor this down. My measurements: Bra size is a 36D (US) Hips: 43 inches Waist: 32 inches

maziemae1 What alterations did you do to the internal skirt? Also, does it need to be dry cleaned? Are there any stains or imperfections? In addition, You said you didn’t alter the length , how tall are you? Thank you so much .

jaxposhcloset @maziemae1 hi there! I’m 5 foot 4 inches tall. The dress needs to be dry cleaned. No stains of note. Just the usual bottom that touched the floor. And, I altered the inside skirt to let it out, making it a little looser. You can easily make it smaller if necessary. Hope this helps!

maziemae1 Thank you. So was it quite long on you then? Did you wear flats with it? I’m 5’5” and my shoes are about 3” so I am hoping it is long enough….would you say it was quite long on you? Was the inside skirt long as well? Also, just to double check as well, no rips tears holes or damage either? Thanks for all your help.

jaxposhcloset @maziemae1 great question. I was wearing a 4 inch wedge shoe with the dress. The inside length matches the outside. You can see in the last photo how the dress sits on the floor. You couldn’t see my shoes when I walked. The length covered it really well. I could have gone with a higher shoe, but I wanted to be comfortable.
