@ozarkian it does look like that in the picture but they are open. It is in the top hem to make it look more vintage I think. I can post a better picture if you would like :)

@thrifty_nat_13 😆 I see it now! I’ve been looking for this bag, but every other color I’ve seen has a long cord type crossbody strap. Did this bag originally come with two straps? The shorter and a longer one?

@ozarkian no. The shorter one is the original and I bought a non-branded strap to use as a crossbody. The shorter strap does not come off.

@thrifty_nat_13 I thought maybe you had a piece of the long strap cut off to make it into a shoulder bag at first. I just noticed the stitching is different on the ends of each strap. I collect vintage fossil, so yeah, I know, I’m picky. 😁

It seems sort of small to have originally been a crossbody bag but I have not looked into this bag in particular and what it originally looked like. I hope you can find what you are looking for :)
