joyhossman3 Good Evening! Can you tell me if that stain on the bottom of the bag is ink and if not what it is? Also, could this bag be mahogany? I don't think that prior to 1994 that Tobacco was one of the colors this bag came in. I think based on the creed that this bag was manufactured in 2002. Maybe they added additional colors after 1994. Also it appears to have some staining on the front flap of the bag, is that the same stain that is on the bottom or is it something else? Thank you.

estellegaines @joyhossman3 I think, but an not positive, that it is/was liquid baby formula that leaked out of a bottle. Working mom, 2 kids at the time, one about one year old. Pretty sure it isnt ink - in my mind it is too big of a spot. I dont remember another spot. I will look at it tomorrow and write back. The bag is much closer to a chocolate brown with very little red. I thought it was Tobacco but you seem more knowledgeable about Coach than me. Thank you for your interest.

estellegaines I have looked at the bag again. I think it is a shadow of a very minor curl at the edge of the flap that on the first picture. I don't see another SPECIFIC spot/stain of the front flap of the bag BUT this bag is 30+ years old and I carried it every day for a while - probably a year. It does show signs of "life" and use. I think it is in very good used vintage condition - not perfect. I am open to reasonable offers! Thanks again.

estellegaines @lilliabea hi there yes - it has been carefully cleaned by me - dusted inside and out, tepid water dip with diluted gentle liquid soap, gentle swishing around, slow dry. I may have done that twice. I have not polished the brass.
