This is a pair of handmade asymmetrical earrings crafted from recycled jewelry and a piece of flint I found while rockhounding in the California high desert. The silver talon earring was something I found in a second hand store without a match, so I fixed it up with some tarnish-resistant gold crafter wire, paired it with a piece of flint, and turned it into an asymmetrical pair of earrings. From the top of the earwire to the bottom, the silver talon is roughly 3 and 1/4 inches long. For the flint stone, the top of ear wire to the bottom of the piece is roughly 2 inches.
