melissagelfand Hi- the strap is about 54.5 inches long and the strap drop is a bit over 21 inches using the last rung/hole on the strap. You could, however, add one more hole perhaps below the last hole or above the existing top hole depending on your needs. There’s plenty of room if needed. A local cobbler could add it in minutes. That would add another 1-2 inches for extending and you’d still have plenty left to tuck thru and it would look good. Plenty of room to do it at the other to shorten as well.
