eagaetano @ibeaaron87 hi there, so sorry for my delay in getting back to you. i just took the jacket out of storage to check it out. there is no rip on the hood cord on either side. i checked both sides and the black elastic cord is connected to grey fabric on the inside of the jacket. it’s supposed to be inside the little plastic holder but for some reason was visible in the original pic. i took 2 new pics and will add them to the listing.
