Stunning, timeless dress, perfect for mother of the bride or groom. Stunning black and white timeless gown. Perfect for a mother of the bride or groom. It is actually recommended to size up as it is made of taffeta which has very little give. I am a 14 (5’7, 175 lbs) in just about everything but I bought an 18. There were no 16s in stock. I had Nordstroms did alterations.

alkevmar @tajaikuhn The dress runs small. The designer suggests a size up. I bought 2 sizes up, an 18, because there is no give in the fabric and I measure about a 40-41. But I had a lot of alterations to reduce the bulk in the shoulders and sleeves. Bottom line. I am a 14 in almost everything I wear. This dress for all intents and purposes is a 14.

svaas Hi, I love this dress as mother of bride. I’m 5’8. My current weight is 180. I basically wear a 14 but I know with these types of dresses it can vary. Could you share any guidance? I am very interested. I looked at your pictures and I feel like it could work for me.
